On kiss me liar, a marked omega dun have a problem having problem having multiple alphas, but a marked alpha can only have the omega that marked them. I think this is what i like about this series. Like the dominant alphas are on the top of the foodchain but they fold over a dominant omega... In this series dominant omegas are actually rare... Yungwoo and Joshua are just regular omegas well more like beta turned to omega... Then there's Chase mother and Joshua's firefighter friend who are dominant omegas .... It was even mentioned on another series that Chase mother could disappear whenever he like it, coz unlike dominant alphas, the dominant omegas have great control of their pheromones.

Marking in this world mostly means that you can only react to the pheromones of the person who marked you. It’s why Josh didn’t react to Grayson’s pheromone shower in an earlier chapter. You could technically still have sex regardless of pheromones though and that’s basically what they’ve been doing until now, because Josh was taking tonnes of suppressants.

But yes, Chase *should* be able to work it out since Josh did react to his pheromones just now, if he really thought about it. You’ll find out later though that Chase has pretty much ZERO sex education because he abhors the whole alpha/omega system that he avoided learning about it. So he probably thinks Josh is reacting regardless because he’s a dominant alpha. Ofc, he also doesn’t remember their first night together- his brother has convinced him that he slept with a dog. On top of that, Chase actually has really low self-esteem and negative thoughts, so he assumes the worst. He just thinks another alpha marked Josh.

Josh doesn’t tell Chase the truth right away because he’s not really sure how to reveal everything (naturally, if he confirmed the mark had been done by Chase, the child would come up), he’s concerned about timing, and he’s not sure Chase can handle it in his current mental state/whether Chase would consider it a good thing, or whether he’d be holding Chase back from living freely (Chase is still young and a superstar after all).

Remember, Josh is still planning on dipping when the contract is over. And until recently, Chase has been violent and unstable, so I think Josh’s concerns are pretty valid. His thoughts are trimmed in the manhwa, but Josh does agonise a bit over what he should do and Chase doesn’t push him for an answer because he’s terrified of the answer- of another alpha staking their claim on Josh.

It wasn’t chases mother who would disappear its Keith Pittman’s mother angel who would disappear. Koi and Ashley are chases parents both male. And if I also remember correctly Angel Keith’s mother also had multiple alphas according to Keith and it would take all of them to induce her heat because she was dominant omega phenotype one dominant alpha just wouldn’t do. Anyways yes Dane (the firefighter) is a dominant omega as well and if you read his series with Greyson you actually get to see and learn more about the dominant Omega phenotype.

It totally make sense now why ml had no clue about the pheromones and mated pairs. That's what I was wondering as well that the other guy just back off when he realised that mc was marked. And Chase was like let me shower Josh with my alpha pheromones then saw the reaction and still had no clue about the pairing
