I feel like most people disliking the mc comes from readers wanting the ML for themselves ('ω') dont blame yall he’s hot but lets not pretend as if the misunderstanding trope isnt new where a fl thinks of the ml poorly at first bc of stupid stuff + an fl having a crush on a different male who won’t reciprocate (but probably will eventually for drama reasons)
