So a lot of discourse is happening over whether or not they will switch. Will they actually switch? Or is it mostly just hopes and dreams. People said the author confirmed their positions, but I can’t find evidence of that. Either way I love me a Uno power bottom!

Someone said this is getting picked up by a new artist but another said the new artist also stepped down? Does anyone know what will happen? I love this story and art so far, and I cannot believe people are harassing the artist for their work and dedication. Can’t people just be grateful?

Wait for it to get completed, it's nice ish but takes forever to update and the plot is very predictable and low risk
The beginning of the story was really funny imo, the comedy was good. Taeyang, the ML, was a dick since the start of the story tho.
While Boreum, the MC, was a good character, very much the comedic relief, but (again imo) kinda lost his spark as the story progressed. The premise too was really interesting in the beginning but lost direction as the story developed.
If I were you, I'd wait until the story ended before I'd start reading it, and keep in my mind that this isn't a masterpiece, just a typical misunderstandings filled story, with some nice highlights.

This is the first time I’m genuinely rooting for the 2nd ML. Usually in love triangles im fine with any ML or I simply root for 1st ML, but I absolutely love the way Hokuto acts as a pillar to Minami.
To me it feels like Shusuke is the “first love” type of character, whereas Hokuto represents new beginnings for MC in both romance and character development. Rlly hope Hokuto is end game!
Did compton have feelings for heejae or is that far fetched? The flashback heejae had of Compton crying in the ran looked a lot like the time garam was crying from being “rejected” by heejae. Also Compton seems to be really perceptive of other’s romantic attraction. Like he quickly caught onto Walter’s feelings towards garam, garam’s feelings towards heejae, and the other musicians’ romantic affairs. I could be wrong though.
I wonder the same aswell! To me it feels like he likes prof or atleast used to have feelings for prof. Seeing garam took the prof's heart..i wonder if one of his motives is to separate them together
Nah to me it looks like its just hatred talking from his expression. So much hatred that he cant stand anyone beung near him. It looks like he wants him to suffer by not finding “gems” or “losing” them. He always watched heejae closely but not inna jealous typpa way yk? More hatred-y

I may have gotten the wrong impression from using machine translations when I read the raws, but at the end of this arc, Compton wonders if all along he had actually held affection towards Heejae. Rather than a romantic interest, Garam was a mirror of who he would've been if Heejae recognized his sound instead of rejecting him (as his protege). His need to frame Garam's feelings as hatred, and his insistence to deny Garam's love for the professor, almost felt like a like desperate attempt at self-correction. He was actually projecting himself on Garam.
I feel like he may have had ambiguous feelings that he himself did not realize. I don't think they were strong enough to be called love, but they were rooted in a deep desire to be recognized and acknowledged by Heejae. As much as he's driven by his hatred of Heejae, he's also driven by that longing. And that's reflected in his last conversation with Heejae where he asks what he thought of his music now. Well, you can guess how heejae responded.
Hmmm I think this makes much more sense. Thinking about it now I don’t think Compton necessarily had romantic interests towards heejae. Rather, he seems to look at garam in a “that could’ve been me”, way (like you said in terms of being a protege). Now it seems as though Compton simply hates heejae, but I think we will come to find out that he also just wanted his approval more than anything.
I think when compton sees the way heejae treats garam, and he will blame himself and therefore project that as hatred towards prof. But I’m sure part of him simply hates heejae since that guy is an ass of a teacher!
Does Compton eventually feel attraction towards Garam like Walter or is it just obsession? Asking for some spoilers :-)

Walter is obsessed with "saving" garam from heejae. He feels kinship towards garam because in his eyes, they're both heejae's student that was hurt by him. And he offers to sleep with garam twice iirc, and it's not attraction, it's because he essentially wants to help garam "move on" from heejae

No, he doesn't feel romantic attraction towards Garam, but yeah- he believes he and Garam are similar- that both of them can understand each other's feelings perfectly. He considers them Perfect comrades in music; he is a bit cracked on his head so after he realises, garam doesnt hate- but love prof- he does everything to change garam's feelings (by putting him in harsh gaslighting techniques- well, not exactly gaslighting, he just puts in his own view of the prof and forces them on garam) Walter is a soft soul- Compton is a twisted one. He thinks that he can understand Garam's sound perfectly(He said he could feel true hatred in Garam's Rachmaninoff, but Garam mastered that music using love and compassion towards Heejae, so yeah, Compton doesn't understand him, only Prof does), but he doesn't.

And Compton did offer to sleep with Garam, so Garam wouldn't feel lonely. At the time, he didn't know Garam was in love with Prof. He thought Garam just didn't hate prof as much like the others. He realised afterwards that Garam was in love with prof, as Garam tried defending Prof.
What's the answer of garam after Compton's offer??

That’s so interesting bc from what you said, it seems like compton is trying to “save” garam from heejae’s harsh treatment yet he does so in ways which makes him the same as heejae.

Yeah, he is the same as Heejae. His conducting method in the orchestra is the same as Heejae's. And Even garam said it on his face that his approach towards music reminds him of prof- well, that didn't end too well...
I honestly think garam is the most intelligent person in this story. As much as compton and heejae are called the maestros, garam feels like the true maestro.
