I feel like the detective stuff was just added like, it literally has little sense/logic, I mean, yeah, the author wanted to write a detective story, but then why make him a twink, he doesn't even feel like a detective,he doesn't know how to lie, doesn't know how to hold his drink, doesn't know how to make leading conversations, he just gets swept along. Most things feel forced
