*in the background playing* hello darkness my old friend
Goddammit! Right back to square one... Or worse. I feel so much pity for Nakyum right now. Poor guy. I'm very curious as to how will the story unfold after this, bc if I were in Nakyum's place I would resent the guy so much... I just hope it doesn't turn into some Stockholm syndrome kind of story or sth
It hit me that that's how Mr kang's relationships might have been so far so he sincerely was expecting to be in a purely physical relationship with Mr anh. I think that's also why he imagined Mr anh so bold in that fantasy, because that may be how people of his age who approach him act. But Mr anh is a 20 something youth. He may have been bold in some cases but he's still young and feelings are more important to him. They're not in the same page obviously. Can't wait to see Mr Kang head over heels for this kid hahaha
You’re so right!
He was also expecting YiYoung to be very bold. Remember how YiYoung acted when they met for the first time? Mr. Kang was just waiting for that side of YiYoung to come out & be bold (as explained from Mr. Kang's little fantasy).
But that didn't happen because YiYoung genuinely likes Mr. Kang. Which was out of his expectations. He never considered YiYoung would've liked to date, that's why he was only thinking of a physical relationship.

The story was nice, the unrequited love parts were good, I felt the angst. But when they come around and start going out... Gosh, i just was repeating to myself "this is fiction" "mc doesn't mind it", bc I almost physically wanted to run away from those possessive almost psychotic scenes with ml. Even the justifications from mc felt just like he was gaslighting himself or trying to convince himself ml was a good person. It was very questionable, but it was a good read. I couldn't stop reading it, even if there were some parts where I felt really uncomfortable with their intensity.
