I am wondering if this manhwa was heavily inspired by Medieval Era. Because of the headpiece Varka is wearing and the gowns the princesses are wearing I KNOW I AM AWARE that manhwas don’t try to make it all too realistic and I can see that mainly with some dresses Thalia wears but I wish it was more historically accurate. I think it would have made the story and Varka way more attractive. No offense actually full offence cuz I hate the artist but her artstyle doesn’t match this story at alllllllllllll I wish it was illustrated by someone else with a deeper artstyle. She is cutesifying everything. The trauma the serious situation don’t look that serious to me. I wish someone with a more serious artstyle took this job cuz imagine seeing Varka in an accurate costume a knight in his era wore. LIKE OMG IM GETTING GOOSEBUMPS. obviously I know I’m gonna repeat this again. They don’t own us accurecy because it’s just getting inspired by a historical era. But gosh I wish it was more accurate it would have made this manhwa wayyyyyyy more readable. And the dresses the girls wear in that era are also cunt so. OH THERE IS HOWEVER ONE MANHWA I REMEMBER READING THAT HAD SOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH ACCURACY LIKE EVERYTHING ABOUT THE MANHWA WAS SP FUCKING ACCURATE I THINK IT WAS EITHER CALLED THE EMPRESS OR IT WAS CALLED THE QUEEN. IT WAS INSPIRED by the Rococo era. It was so freaking accurate but it was discontinued or smth idk. However I’m glad this manhwa has some pieces of the era lingering in the air. It’s like getting teased but never having that itch scratched. (Idk if u can tell I’m European and this means a lot to me)

If I’m gonna be honest it’s hella weak for a first season. It was messy it was dumb it was filled with repeated dialogues like Yeonwu reminding us over and over how poor he is and how he wants smth and how Rosa hates him but she keeps toying with him and how he likes it. Like okay we got it ANYTHING NEW? lots of things got repeated even the part where the mom kept leaving them alone multiple times. And hear me out I totally get it she is a business woman she is a ceo makes sense. BUT! If Rosa truly didn’t care about her mom’s feelings she could have had banged him right from the beginning get that over with but she waited to fall for him and than fucked him and now she cries and moans about feeling guilty. Like show that guilt up your ass or use it like a dildo. She is also one hell of a robotic ass female lead. She was written to not be a hero rather have a villain vibe but she is just annoying nothing cute I love evil but she wasn’t giving that she was just a spoiled brat acting like a lil kid. Only character I liked was Yeonwu. He is a breath of fresh air for a male lead. The other guy. I don’t give a fuck ab him. Mom is a good character I just want her to serve more she isn’t that prominent in the chapters but I want her to show up more give us chaos. Truly be an evil bitch cuz if she turns out to be a heartbroken mother who doesn’t take revenge on Rosa? This manhwa goes from trash to garbage. Also CUT UT OUT WITH RAPE. Just give us consensual sex from now on. Anyways I would give this season a 4/10 it was shit but it could go shittier if season 2 keeps making these mistakes as well. Big hopes for season 2 OH AND I HOPE FOR NEW CHARACTERS. Give us ex boyfriend of Rosa or ex girlfriend/ situationship of Yeonwu. BRING AN EX OF MOM. BRING US PEOPLE!!!!
