Oh wait I'm kinda confused :
If I well understood, Empress Yooran gave birth to 2 royal crown prince : Yooshing and Yoosung.
In order to obtain a god for country of Yonguck, the empress sacrified one of her son. Normally, it was Yoosung who was supposed to be the sacrifice but Yooshin took his place and became the God Yellow Dragon.
That's explains surely why in chapter 1 : Yoshin killed his mother the empress Yooran and his own brother Emperor Yoosung for Yooguck's reign of peace. He said ["My love for Yooguck was greater but both you and mother were nothing but demons who underminded the kingdom"]
I think his family wanted t to create another god by sacrifing another member of family and didn't want it to happen again, right?
The witch musty be referenced to the woman who complot with Jin Seojo (the sh*tty man who want to create a god by using Yellow Dragon).
I tried so much my best but I still don't like Jennette.
Why? Because she is also responsible for the first Athy's death
Because she is so idiot (must be linked to fact that spent most her time imprisonned inside Mr White's house). Who the hell would follow an unknown man in the street? She is lacking common sense.
2 nd she is idiot because she believes that Claude is her father without try to look the thuth by herself. She is too blunt and doesn't know how to read the mood before open her mouth, ec...
Athy is different, she was an ophan girl and didn't have parents to love her That's made her so wary toward people and also made her strong for surviving. Jennette is beyond of it, she is in her Barby's word, litle girl.
Someone had to say it
Okay, let's get this straight, Jennette wasn't the cause of Athy's death, it was Claude.
Jennette is actually a sweet, caring girl. She is very sheltered and hence, doesn't know of the dark side of society. Simply put, she's privileged.
So far I havent seen her use her privilege to condemn/ attack Athy. Let's stop this hate.
And for the record, Jennette's hug and genuine care/ tears for Anthy's well being were needed for Anthy. She was that friend Athy could depend on, though not as much, but she was there for Athy
And it isn't jennette fault she grew up the way she did its the people around her telling her lies! And of course she'll think claude is her daddy cuz y,know the eyes!
Ok, but if you see closely in ch.45 pg 13 you can see that the bow that Jennette gave to Athy was the one that made the whole reaction happen with Blacky witch caused Athy to black out and almost die. The bow was probably cursed like how the old wizard said that a person born with black magic is bound to hur others and end in misery. So yeah I also don't like Jennette, without her Athy could of been so happy with Claude and he wouldnct have had lost his memory.

I feel the same sort of. I get both sides like we should blame her for the death of Athy in the first but some people still do, like me. I don’t know how to explain it, it’s like I don’t like her but I don’t hate her too much. It you know who I hate that asshole of father to Jennette I think that’s who is.
The bow was cursed because the black haired wizard cursed it. Had nothing to do with Jennette. The people culpable are the king's older brother and ex fiance. Even if Jennette wasn't a part of the story, there will always be another 'Jennette' (pawn) for the older brother to use, he is the true villain, Jennette is simply a pawn to use and later discard.
