I think MD pushed Chanwoo this far because he was afraid that chanwoo don't respect his own limit (aka be bullied/hitted by his former boyfriend). He tried to push chanwoo to say the safe word but Chanwoo don't seems to know when to stop, chanwoo is his own threat, this why he stopped to see chanwoo.
