Everything’s going to be okay… right?
Nanjo is just playing hard to get because he doesn’t trust Mok yet, but everything’s going to be okay. It will… right?
I think Nanjo is conflicted because he wants to be in love with Sunhwa, but deep down he’s actually attracted to Mok, especially since they’re incredibly compatible on a physical level. The manipulative way Mok behaves isn’t what Nanjo considers ideal, because he’s drawn to people who seem innocent—just like Sunhwa made him believe he was.
Poor Mok has serious psychological issues caused by being abandoned by not just one, but two families. It’s a really difficult situation, but I’m sure they’ll find their way back to each other. Nanjo is a good person; he just needs to realize that Mok isn’t the monster he’s convinced himself he is, and that Sunhwa isn’t the sweet, innocent angel he thinks he is—he’s actually a little viper.
I think Mokhyeon has finally reached rock bottom. Whether he goes through with it or not, I believe this is the moment that will change him.
For the first time, I think he’ll truly let Nanjo go instead of desperately holding onto him. He might even encourage Suhnwa to give Nanjo another chance. Ironically, I think that selfless act could be exactly what makes Nanjo see Mok in a different light and bring him back to him.
I also think Mok needs to make peace with Suhnwa and sincerely apologize for everything that happened. He has people who genuinely care about him, and I hope this is the moment he finally realizes that. More than anything, I want to see him learn how to deal with his emotions and build healthy relationships instead of losing himself in them.
Only after that do I think Mok and Nanjo could have a real chance together.
Either way, I think the next chapter will be the turning point for Mok’s character and the most decisive one so far.
