Some readers are saying Argo's hot?? On what basis? To note, I started seeing these comments after him paraded his d.. Like what?! Yall simping for that?!!
I don't usually rant about this especially if it's just a few comments but I'm surprised over the fact that it's more than I thought. I had to question myself am I reading too much? Or has the taste of BL readers really changed. I know it's just a fiction but come on what else is/are his redeeming features and those people just talking about that thing nothing else?Σ( ̄□ ̄||)
Ik what ya'll think.. but don't forget Chase is a Miller.. well Chase and Bliss are the least but still that will never erase the fact that the kids are all problematic.. the alphas in this family are all far from normal. Chase being dramatic?.. he's the type to overthink when it involves the person he loves. I guess it runs in their blood that all they care is just their other half nothing else.. Dominic to Ashley, Ashley to Koi, Nathan to Chrissy, Grayson to Dane and, yes, Chase to Josh that he didn't care there's another person beside him bleeding(poor Henry). Chase may have emotions but dont forget he doesn't know to what's extent is normal to over the top. Plus his pheromones are acting up so yep we can't expect much for him to be rational atp.
It seems like the story isn’t really heading toward a romance plot after all. It’s more of a slice of life, shoujo vibe with a focus on character development, particularly Kim Dain and her relationships with other people esp the other girls, Kang Dain and Nam Boyoung. I’m getting *GALS!* vibes from it, where the main focus is on the friendships and growth of the girls with romance subplot. It’s nice to see Kim Dain’s story unfold without the pressure of needing to end up with a handsome guy, much like how *GALS!* didn’t have Ran end up with Rei Otohata but with Tatsuki Kuroi.
All I can say is Yeongwoon deserves all the love in this world.. he's precious. but even all this time he's been surrounded by these people who can offer him twisted kind of love.. yes this includes Seoin even if he's the ML. That will never ever erase the fact that despite him having feelings even as in denial as he is for Yeongwoon he treated him sh**. I'm not suprised though how all these people are so drawn to him. Their world had been so twisted but then they encountered someone that's totally genuine to them and all they wanted for that person to with them. I'm just crying for my baby knowing that worst is yet to come. And pls... Taegu has been hinted as the other guy as seen in the cover why some readers act so surprised and the hate on author-nim. I'm more surprised over the fact that this old man at least acted according to his age before. Seo-in did worst in the early chapters. Don't get me wrong, I still want Seo-in for Yeongwoon that is if he can make him secured, loved and happy.
Tbh, I've stopped buying this title from Lezh*n. I'm just scanning it after like 2-3chaps released here. Now, I'm here again.. still not fully convinced with the current flow. I read somewhere that Yeonwu's indeed the ML according to the author.. I didn't watch her livestream that time.. idk but maybe I just find it off that it's either they're sharing same guy or Rosa getting her mom's hand-me downs. How is this guy supposed to develop feelings for Rosa if he's like that with the mom. Hopefully, there's some good development or proper execution in his and Rosa's character. Else it's just like saying this guy is the ML and she's the MC, nothing more.

I think the manhwa is lacking a lot in terms of narration. It feels like they skipped or condensed too many important parts, which unfortunately makes the ML come across as just a man who's obsessed with her.
In the novel, if I remember correctly, there was so much more context behind his feelings. After seeing her room, he became suspicious and even went out of his way to find and question someone from her household because he wanted to understand what had happened to her and how she was being treated.
And regarding the dress, I think it was "Stella" who was surprised that it was actually a gift for Ines rather than his fiancée. The way he described Ines' measurements was so incredibly detailed that one of his friend(?) even pointed out that it sounded like he was practically feeling her up lol
What makes it more meaningful in the novel is that he didn't even fully understand his own feelings at first. He mistook what he felt for Ines as simply the feelings he had for his dearest friend. Those little details are what made his attachment to her feel much more layered and believable. In the manhwa, with so much of that narration missing, it unfortunately comes across more like simple obsession of an alpha to her scent. This is an ABO, btw.
Also, I remember how he completely went berserk after finding out who Ines' marriage partner was. He was furious with his mother and even put his fiancée in her place. He made it clear that he never even considered her as his future wife—he only accepted the engagement because the emperor(?) had chosen her based on her noble house.
And I remember him basically saying that the only thing Ines lacked was nobility, but when it came to everything else, no one could compare to her.
That's another detail I feel the manhwa really needs. Without those internal thoughts and reactions, his feelings toward Ines can easily look like sudden obsession, when in the novel, you could actually see how deeply attached to her he already was and how much he had been denying or misunderstanding those feelings.
Can you send me the link for the novel
