OK, I know everyone’s list disappeared but I didn’t know that they were fixing it because I never read the comments on here so I started adding my stuff back myself. Is this gonna mess them up because I had 100 and I only can remember like 15 books will they add the other books or since I started adding them back myself will they stop and not add my books back
it won't!
the day after the site came back on i spent an afternoon adding 500 books to my lists (so that i wouldn't miss updates). what i noticed is that the books that i readded received timestamps to when i first added them (years ago).
all the other books that were not readded came back as usual.
you'll be fine regardless of whether or not you add them back! (it's just that when you open your reading list, the timestamps will be a little out of order, but all will be well)

OK, first everyone said we were getting our list back now they’re saying we aren’t. which is true?
Correct.
At first they were recovering lists as normal
And then the disk containing lists data crashed so the data was lost
We don't know if the devs are doing recovery still though. My list personally has been frozen in place for a week
