My third time re reading this and the last couple of chapters still make me cry
I’m sorry but it’s beyond fucking obvious that Guwon is the result of experiments of some kind. There’s been hints at it the ENTIRE story. First off his silver almost glowing eyes, giant ass frame and monster dick. He passes out when he reaches what seems to be an emotional/neurological threshold, then has to receive emergency medical treatment that happens to call for cutting into his skull (had stitches and a shaved bald spot after being treated), his abnormal way of thinking combined with what seems like regression (mot knowing simple words and their meanings), his freakish strength (ppl are not normally capable of crushing skulls bare handed), etc. He’s probably not quite “human” anymore because of it.
Man this chapter rly broke me. It was horrific enough that in that country committing familicide was not only normal but also required to ascend the throne. No if and or buts. BUT every person of the royal family that manifested the eye of Natam also had a constant voice in their head urging them to kill others??!! Like that shit wasn’t bad enough??! And because Shuraka hasn’t killed every other member of royalty that voice is gonna stay inside his head forever??! It makes his love for his Beloved so much more tragic and beautiful since his presence is the literally the only thing that makes that voice go away. Shuraka probably plans to eradicate any influence of Natam and make sure no one in the royal family manifests an eye of Natam ever again because “pruning the palace” turned out to be just that horrific like bruh everybody talking about mpreg like serious shit is not going down in this story wtf
Extreme red flag energy. I’m sorry we’re not even trying to hide the gaslighting? Not to mention the non con multiple times! First time they do it without one of them being shit faced drunk, he’s clearly not giving consent. Can’t get more clear of a no than him straight up trying to push you away and telling you to get it out. From the get go the gaslighting and full on manipulation is there never stops really either. I made it to chap 17 and I had to drop this series. Compared to some of the other works this is just not it.

As always Su Ah only focuses on his feelings and how he’s gonna manipulate his friend into becoming his boyfriend. Like I’m sorry but this is fucked up. What choice does Juhyeok have here, go back to the old man? Maybe. Su Ah is still the only one with power in this relationship and is still abusing it.
Genuinely I hope Ahjuicy and Juhyeok have a conversation in the morning. Maybe Ahjuicy can help Juhyeok start reversing the scenting side effects by exposing him slowly to diff pheromones? Idgaf how hurt Su Ah is it’s beyond fucked up what he did to juhyeok, who had no say and no power to undo it himself. Did Su Ah ever actually feel guilty for what he did or tried to find solutions to reversing it? No he fucking didn’t all he focused on was his own feelings. Until Juhyeok can go back to having normal and stabilized pheromones they can’t even have a conversation about their relationship. Right now it’s an uneven power dynamic and Su Ah holds literally all the power. It’s a toxic relationship at best.
Yeah Su Ah doesn’t deserve our sympathy but can we still all collectively agree that your friend asking you to straight up fill some jars with cum and being treated as nothing more than a literal cum bank is still a bit fucked up?
