Is Yoonie an old man? I am underwhelmed by this ending...can someone explain?
Yoonie is 55 years old when Haejin wakes him up. Haejin went into hibernation at age 20 when yoonie was also 20. Yoon was hoping to "free" Haejin ASAP so he researched for 35 years on how to "free" Haejin but he ended up learning that he wouldn't be able to find the solution anytime soon and he was afraid that if he kept going, he would pass away before he could meet Haejin again. So he put himself into hibernation at age 55 next to Haejin
Thank you! The ending is bittersweet, its sad they couldn't spend their life together. I kinda hate this direction.
Yea I was thinking of that too. Like they'll be able to spend the rest if their lives together NOW but Yoonie is already 55 now and Haejin is only 20... so at some point... Haejin will be alone. Unless Yoonie were to go into hibernation for 35 years until Haejin is 55 also lolol
I was hoping the author would allow growth..dark storyline doesn't always have to involve raping the uke. Let the puppy come out on top for once.
