A lot of people are angry about her not being informed about practically everything but that's impossible to do even when it's just two people, you want her informed on all the issues and affairs of an entire noble family? And even if she's not informed right away, it's okay for people to first gather their thoughts and then communicate. I understand people can find this irritating but you guys are judging Theo while at the same time claiming Pereshati deserves to know because she's already part of the family and know how things work. If she knows, then why doesn't she know he takes some time before being ready and that it's difficult for him? Why does she still barge into places without knowing things and then gets angry? Like, I understand she wants to know where she is and where she's standing, and I could side with her early on. But at this point she's just being pushy(? Not to mention she's projecting her issues into a woman who has not once expressed any concern for Celphi. She's just now realising she's not the same as that woman. Something that was glaringly obvious from the very beginning, starting with their socioeconomic positions outside marrying into the Lapileons.
I feel like this plot lost the ball. It added nothing to the main story, it yet again brought miscommunication and misunderstanding to the table, all while reverting the painstaking development Theo and Pereshati had and somehow making Pereshati take every wrong decision regarding this issue, when she was the one most apt to deal with social/heart issues.

TBH I'm usually not a big fan of characters like the little brother but I really liked his growth, his parallels to Sougo and his story. I was about to bash Alex, be abuse he seemed to have a decent parent that didn't impose on him anticipated ideas unlike Sougo's father and yet he was about to go through with it.
I'm still not liking Sougo's father. I get it. He was supposed to have some development. But he's lacking. He never even apologized to Akira. I was apprehensive about the little brother because of him but it seems, so far, he's the only one that lacks proper development. All I can see is an hypocrite that was still holding on to ideas that hurt him and a person he was supposedly in love with (I'm not counting his children because he obviously just saw them as means to spread his DNA). So far his story seems like an older guy that gets to reap his rewards after "spreading his seed". The fact that the teacher was considered as less because he couldn't have children never even spurned him into action yet he gets to live the cozy life with him. And when Sougo takes a stand, he bashes him for it and tries to tear down his relationship. I just don't like him.

The father's back story is funny to me because they are done usually to add more depth to a character but given his backstory, it only made me dislike him more. After him being denied being able to be with the person he wanted, and the person he wanted being deemed less because he was infertile. He went after Akira and treated his own son as a breeding machine.

Like, I want them to communicate but I'm also kinda enjoying that the reason he's not able to get the truth out of Edith is because he made it that way. He made himself untrustworthy and now he's reaping what he sowed. I'd like to see him squirm a bit more before they unite.

TBH I don't care about this woman. I get it. She was hurt and she's acting like that because she thinks Pereshati is in her same position.
What bother me the most is the author suddenly entering this very unnecessary plot line. As I said, I understand where she's coming from, except Pereshati was never in her same position as her from the very beginning. Even if they were to break up, Pereshati still has her state.
This is not comparable and the new character is not bringing anything new to the table. We know how the family operates because Pereshati has had to deal with it and she's still not fully there as she pointed out at the ball. This character is just adding unnecessary confusion and drama, and moving the plot away from the main issue. Unless she's somehow the key to end the curse, it doesn't make sense for this detour.

Like, it's cool she's "going to try harder" but if she doesn't recognise her shortcomings she's not going anywhere. The reason Veramude is acting this way is because, despite what everyone keeps telling her, she's not honest. She doesn't communicate. If she doesn't address that, then her "try" is all for nothing.
