This one was cute! I loved the art sm! I wish we got to see Lulu in her demon form more though T - T the gap moe potential would be astronomical. I have a soft spot for characters who are writers or artists so I really liked hayeon's story. I liked how both her and Lulu had something to learn before the story ended and how they both got to grow and change. Really enjoyed this.

This story shows the cycle of abuse and the tragedy of circumstances in a visceral way, somehow both being realistic and human with the way this kind of trauma can change a person's life and psyche while also fitting in at least one graphic r*pe scene per chapter that I honestly could have done without. It really contains multitudes.

IK its pwp but the story makes literally no sense. the pov and narration is all over the place which makes it hard to follow wtf is going on. i kept reading just to figure out wtf is happening with kylot trying to take his family down, but that thread genuinely just gets dropped the second they meet his brother at the tower. like did he want to bankrupt their family just for spite? and the thread with rabi being a bounty hunter just gets dropped too

IK this is just a smut manga, but I feel iffy abt both of the Pacific Islander women being hypersexual. We only have 3 named charas, 2 of them are from this island, both leaning into the "sexy dark-skinned foreigner" trope. I'm sure it's not how the author views all Pacific Islanders, but it becomes an issue when the cast is so small and u portray both PI women this way. That being said, I have no issue with nozomi or kiara themselves. Their dynamic was pretty cute and funny.

Very compelling characters, it was a really interesting setting up Kai and Hitoshi as foils to eachother in the way that they both experienced the same traumatic event, but one brought themselves back into the "light" while the other forced themselves further and further into "darkness". Kai himself is an unreliable narrator in this regard because while the catalyst was the same for the both of them, ie getting assaulted by mamiya, they did not have nearly the same circumstances. With Kai essentially being groomed since middle school and with no support system other than gang members and other traumatized children his age or younger. The plot twist at the very end actually broke me. It was pretty obvious that kai was going to die since early on in the manga, but for him to die in the place of Hitoshi, pushing him back completely into the light and in his last moments finding something good in the world... Man. And the lyrics he wrote for Hitoshi... I was moved. Lowkey. Estrogen would have saved her... This is a cute story that really pulled on the heartstrings. I really felt and related sakura's pain and fixation on wanting to be "normal". It's such a common feeling to have for someone LGBT in this world where only a few things can be considered "normal" or "right". Yusuke is such a cute boyfriend and you can really feel that he supports Sakura with whatever his interests are and how he expresses himself. Despite how short it is this manga moved me.

I truly cannot stress how good this manga is. the first arc or so definitely has moments and jokes that are "of the time" but if you stick with it this story will change your fucking life and i mean it. there is not enough honey in the world to pour on morikawa. makunouchi ippo is one of the greatest mcs of all time. Incredible character writing weighed down by time + chapter constraints. Kaname is such a relatable & believable character who you can't help but root for. The chapter we get from Seira's pov was welll done & really made the reader understand her + her perspective. However, the story suffers from its short runtime. Ik it's difficult for mangas to stay serialized, but the story rlly would have benefited from having breathing room. good story, wish it had more time.
