Miserable yes, but alive too. And I'm not speaking lightly about it. I had a friend that was in a really dark place, to get out of it the only thing she could do was to sell herself. It was fucked up, it old be violent at times and she was frequently beaten. And still she never considered it rape on the contrary she felt that defining it eape was degrading, it was like taking away the little choice she had, she kept working with her head up,l cause she knew there was no easy way out.
