the worst feeling ever. i got out of it after MONTHS, only to be in a slump again. there’s so many new stuff coming out that i wanna check out and read, but i just can’t yk? TT

i’ve been obsessed w road to empress since the game came out, and i can’t wait for part 2! rn i’m looking to get my fill of similar stories. do y’all have any recs (bl/gl/straight) that has the same premise? well it doesn’t have to be exactly the same, but the manhua/manga/manhwa has to have the “mc trying their best to survive in the palace or any other royal setting; the prince/princess/nobleman/noblewoman falls for the mc; betrayal for the sake of surviving and rising to the top; multiple love interests (bonus if it’s a harem, but love triangles can work too); scheming so many scheming; satisfying revenge arcs” typa stories. again, it doesn’t have to be right on the money. i can also work w transmigration/reincarnation tropes!!

idk i just randomly came across it on tiktok that i can't for the life of me remember the title. basically there's a panel where a pair of twins were saying they're gonna marry this other kid (i'm assuming is the mc) when they were young. the other kid was like "nah" then it cuts to another panel of them 3 all grown up cuddling together on a bed, and the twins were bigger and taller than the mc now.
