Is this the best story ever written? Far from it. Is it super original? It is every cliche in the book one after another. Did I still read the whole thing in one sitting and end up with a big smile on my face at the end? Absolutely. Tho I can understand where others are coming from, I still enjoyed my read.
I was really hoping it wasn't going to go in this direction, because I was really enjoying it, how much she was fighting against him, how he was slowly realizing, but I knew I was just lying to myself, because I knew how this story was going to go when she was blushing every time he assaulted and forced himself on her. I was really hoping she would continue trying to run away, until he finially realized if he wanted her, he had to change, and would actually suffer and change his behavior, while he kept her under constant surveillance and locked in her room and when he is "being nice" it's literally just being a decent human being and talking to her, she starts falling for him?!?!?! Oh, she feels bad because he has a tragic backstory!?! GAG. This story is literally peak stock holm syndrome creepy ugh I'm so disappointed and upset. In the end, when she had the chance to run away, while at the time HE HAD NEVER ONCE APOLOGIED AND IS NOW INFACT TREATING HER WORSE AND COLDLY BECAUSE HE THINKS SHES A SPY, she gets the chance to run away, everyone on the castle is against her, she's spent her days all alone locked in her room. BUT SHE RETURNS AND DECIDES TO STAY!?!?!?! I'm so disappointed, so so so disappointed.
Also, the sexism in this comic is not that subtle, and I'm not even referring to anything that could be considered a different culture (such as having a harem in the first place) it has all the classic clichés, like where the fl is meant to be strong and super smart, this fl has traveled all over the world, learned so many things, but as the story goes on and she getsb"tamed" into the helpless damsel in distress. And while the king is acting the fool for her, all his attendants blame HER for it. One of the attendants had the GALL to tell her "don't give him false hope" LIKE THE ACTUAL AUDACITY- AJDJFIAJFBROXHFBROWUDBROEJ
The more I think about this the more angry I get. I've never been so disappointed in a comic rated about 9. It makes me even sadder so many people enjoyed this story. I need to stop now, just, ugh.
Up until somewhere around chapter 80 it was great, (though i nearly instantly dropped it at their first meeting, but im glad i didn't) and even with everything that was still left to uncover, I feel like 20 chapters max would be all you needed to tie this off with a perfect little bow, but suddenly after 80 it started to drag on. Maybe it was just me, and I'm fine with this being just a difference in preference, but I feel like so much was added or introduced after chapter 80ish that was just not needed and bloated the story. We started dwelling on things I really didn't care about. Like the little boy? He didn't need any of that back story he had he really didn't. Neither did the other green guy or demon girl. But again, that might just be me. Either way, I'd lost interest by chapter 110, maybe I'll come back to finish this in the future. 6.5/10
I get that this is supposed to be heavily coded for comedy but every other sentence out of the FLs mouth makes me cringe and it's just painful to read ugh
I mean, I respect the author for having lore this deep and expansive but man I'm not just lost in the sauce I'm scuba diving in it. Way too much for my head to keep up with. I was enjoying it immensely up until the reveal, then things started slowly going downhill before suddenly I was waist deep. I still enjoy the story but it quickly became too much. Maybe I'll have to come back to this in the future to try again
Am I the only one who finds this super cringey and hard to read? XD like I love the concept and want to enjoy it so bad but I just can't
I enjoyed it. It's far from perfect but it's good enough that I would recommend it to someone. I like how unique it is that both of them are transmigrators. 4/5
It at least kept me interested. I don't understand people complaining about the art, the art is fine. The story is fine but the characters are pretty boring and it's far from anything unique. Still, it was enough, the two leads are cute though they do have their toxic moments for sure. It is pretty slow. I dropped it at chapter 100 tho after she went back again and lost her memory and yeah no im not doing that.
With all due respect who are you to tell her how to live? You hate adults like her? So what? You can't guilt trip or force someone into wanting to live. Frankly her blasè attitude is a big part of why I love her so much. She's a zero emotional attachment kinda girl lmao
They don't own her, and she doesn't owe them anything. Simple as that. Yes, she raised them, they should be thankful for that, not use it as justification to demand more.
Do I understand why they went after her? Yes.
Does that excuse them for coming after someone who clearly doesn't want to be found and invade her personal life? No.
Does she owe them an explanation? No. While it might be nice, it also unfortunately isn't any of their business if she doesn't want it to be.
Harsh truth:
Just because you care about someone doesn't give you the rights to them, their information, their life or their feelings.
Just meh. could have easily been amazing but they missed the mark at every turn. 3/5
I think this is so good! I hate the pink haired guy with my entire soul. Really hope she puts 2 and 2 together and puts that guy in his place. Or better yet, I hope she asks to meet with pink hair for tea, and he seems excited cuz she called for him for once. And she says plainly "I'm not sure what is taking my father so long, but I'd appriciate if we ended this engagement here" and when he asks why in horror she tells him that her being engaged is affecting the staff she can hire, making it CLEAR who she values more. That would be hella satisfying. like she is so close to realizing it so if she can't put two and two together before something bigger happens ima be disappointed.
The characters, the plot, the dialouge, everything about this story is what you would expect going into a comic with a 6-7 star rating, NOT A 8.7 RATING!?!
She wakes up, is immediately manhandled, kissed without her consent, then watches the ml proceed to kill a bunch of people she has to save. The second time she sees him, she walks into two people bleeding out on the ground as he kicks one. She saves them. Yet she blushes when he practically demands she call him his name. (Amoung many other things she does like her heart racing, etc) Later on in this meeting he attacks her brother in front of her, and as she runs over to save him But yet she's still got the gall, the absolute audacity, to start blushing and tilt her head into his bloody hand as it cups her face while she's holding her brothers unconcious body.
Get the fuck out of here.
This is so cute and straightforward, no unnecessary bs side paths, I love that there was even accountability when his highness did do something wrong. This is great!
After getting caught she puts up LITERALLY ZERO FIGHT. AT ALL!? She just accepts everything! Even if she doesn't win she should still fight. Push that ml off you for fuck sake, why are you standing there doing and saying nothing!?! It's so pathetic! Like, why did you just happily get married to him!? Why not even bother mentioning to your parents you don't want to? Why not say no at the alter? Why not do literally any of the hundreds of options you would have to fight back!?! This is one of the most passive FL's I've ever seen. DO. LITERALLY. ANYTHING. YOURSELF.
I get she was only 10 when she regressed, so maybe her still craving her families affection or not being able to stand up for herself might be accurate, but that sure as heck doesn't make it a satisfying read. Why have ppl forgotten how she was treated? No one checked in on her, ever. No birthday gifts, education, nothing. You can say it was for her safety she got sent to the annex, fine. Yes, her father did get sent to the Frontlines to protect her. But that isn't anywhere close to enough.
So to see her suddenly gain powers and immediately be basically accepted back in, given nice things, means they only care she got powers now. It's disappointing how quickly she acts like it never happened, even though I know she's only 10.
Also, she has done nothing herself. Others have saved her every time and only by luck her powers awakened. Usually with regression, the satisfaction comes from them taking things into their own hands.
Especially her father. I get that he is the son of her one true friend or whatever, but that doesn't undo the fact he practically killed you. Why is she suddenly following along with him with nothing more than some bickering? Like I can suspend my disbelief for the training, she wanted to learn so she swallowed her pride. Okay fine. But the way she just agreed to go to school? "If you don't go ill never let you go hunt the dark mages" I'm sorry I know they are trying to morph her character into becoming a good daughter but I can't help but feel like girl, since when did you need his permission? Like I'm sure it wouldn't end well for her to go, but even with just the power and subjects she has now, why not just say "I was only asking cuz of formalities" and leave? Like I'm sorry but ge hasn't exactly been father of the year enough for me to think he has earned this bond that seems to have formed. With her siblings? Absolutely. With her father? He has in no way tried to reconcile with her aside from teaching her swordsmanship. Idk, her giving in more and more easily lately, especially to him, feels disappointing to me for some reason
I am so disappointed that this story took the "fated souls" turn, it's a trope I loathe with every Fibre of my being. I knew with how much he was hinting at him still wanting to return home, he would eventually, but man, if they fall in love in the real world and then this comic ends there, I don't think I'll have the words.
