Yall when he said "adopt" it basically means to "marry" "marriage", in some part of Asia especially in Japan, since gay marriages are not lawfully allowed or banned, they adopt their partner..so that they will become a family and also that partner can have legal rights just as marriages would have
If you have read all the "if you can" series you will know what I am talking about..from here on the story goes flat for me . Spoilers. Josh continuously even in the most serious of situation always talking about Chase's face annoys me as if Chase don't have other attributes. Pete getting introduced to Chase was so rushed like "hey dis ur child hehe" and it move on. Story wise KMIYC is a little weaker compared to the others in the series, however the Characters are the most loveable.
Characters are really good but storywise i think it's a bit bland compared to lick me up if you can and desire me if you can
