this is one of the best if not the best use of dubious consent ive read in a yaoi this is what i mean by i read smut for the plot. its clear as day incheol hates this, he is in pain and even throws up yet neither of them stop which begs you to ask why. its a brutal reminder of their roles not just in their story/relationship but in the political game they have no choice but to play. with the context given thus far, incheol agreeing makes me wonder what the real reason is for him to be willing to go this far, why he is doing something he hates for a job he hates, why does the chair woman have so much power over him specifically. it also added a canyon of depth to pyeonghwa's character. he can see that incheol does not want this and yet when told to "make it quick", he continues without question. it is easy to dumb it down to "he's horny" but with him continuing to go down on him even after incheol passes out, to me, it shows a level of obsession that forced me to go back and try to understand him better; figure out why he so badly wants to be accepted by incheol. this sex scene being used as a genuine plot device is so refreshing to see.
