Have you noticed that lately all manga and manwhua begins with a flashback? They show you the spicy part to hook you up and then: "how did things end up going this way?" and then the story begins. Do every manga have the same author or what
I hate that too but if the story itself compensates I'll let it slide
If the story compensates then I feel there should be no need for that kind of hook up, let the story lives, that's what I think anyway

I need very specific manga for inspiration, so if you happen to be a manga dictionnary, you can help me!
I'm looking for old shojo/josei/yaoi mangas with a lot of angst and depth, like kaze to ki no uta or a cruel god reigns. Also manga which might not be related with a dark psychological atmosphere (may be horror), but it can't be modern (2000 or + are a no no) or manwhua. I know this is VERY specific, but if you can find it, you will be my new gods!
One thing that would be cool, would be the possibility to choose which kind of content I could read here. For example, I would like to be able to choose manga or manwhas or manhua. There are so much manwha here and the mangas are beginning to be invisible or hard to spot.
If you click twice in the “webtoon” tag when searching for a specific tag you can exclude that tag, I always use it to avoid manhwas.
i actually suggested smth similar to this but in terms of chapters lenght years ago in reddit and they roasted me so much in the comments. someone even wrote that i'm such an ungreatful bastard who dosen't appreciate the hard work.
