Not long after Lump spark the garage shins work in is invited to a huge casino opening for making a vintage car thats gonna shoqw case in the event. There once again our King gets someone whipped for him which truns out to be an enemy Ross Trautbien. (His nose job really saved cuz like why was he fine shytt in some scenes like i was supposed hate him but something abt him losing his mind over just made him so hot)
And he tried to sleep with shin but to everyones suprise Jakr disguised in police uniform appears he was there hacking into the casino system and sees shin going in with ross into a room together through cctv and gosh the jealousy took him over and he just blew his discreet cover and went to rake shin which risked his exposure to Ross and thus he start investigating him as well. That was not the only interest awakened that night Shin finding out he has an unexpected kink to Jake dressed in a police uniform which comes time to time in the future.

Ross next day comes to Lump Spark and becomes the most important customer and gets all his cars fixed so he could just come and see Shin as an excuse. Following few days later Ross goes to make deal drug with the most notorious gang in the city turns out jake is a right hand guy with the gang leader. And ross makes the deal for the casino and jake is put to directly work with him. Ross introduces an outsourcing group named "Mass" suggesting they will help with clean money transaction.

Next day shin meets up his informant friend to see what he got on jake and he says that his hackers tried to get into the police system but got double attack with a strong tight security on his information and even the informants police friends couldnt get any thing on Jake. Then all of a sudden some street thugs picks figth with the informant friend and he runs after them. They lure him into a alley way, Shin worrying he'll get hurt after seeing one guy is armed follows they fight off those guys. There they find a huge guy laying on the ground who was attacked by those thuga and was injured. They introduced him as Gren [such a sweetheart love him

FLASHBACK to Shin' past
Shin's parents were drug addicts and only adopted kids in order to get money from government which they blew up in getting drugs. As the kids grew up they would use them to sell drugs on the street and reaching to a certain age joining gangs was given and you would snooner or later see them shot somewhere on the streets the cycle would repeat. Shin grew up witnessing this made him hate drugs and nvr wanted to be involved he wanted a simple life and would often go on his own arohnd the city to escape the reality he was in, but as young Gren was he would always cling to and ask shin to take him every where. Shin always acts and in present as well acted indifferently but really loves Gren cuz he was his only family in the world and did evernything for him even if it was better to push him away. But Gren was always attached to him and wants to stay with shin forever and would do anything to get that peaceful life.
Gren is big softy and a gentle soild so after being separated from shin he tried surviving by himself at the best of his abilities but he realized no matter what he would nvr be able to make enough money without ever dirting his hands and so he started relying on drugs and became an addict along woth joining a group named Mass.

Presently. Few days later the drug dealing is taking place at church <forgot to mention but as kids gren and shin used to hide in the church and the religious statue figure really left an impression> And Mass was suppose to come to the location on behalf of Ross for the deal but then there car suddenly got hit by a truck and Jake arrives at the scene to blow off the entire deal without his boss and Ross knowing acting on his own. Going with his plan he shot everyone one of the Mass members but only shooting Gren's arm and not killing him. [Obviously Jake knows who Gren is cuz he has already done backgroung check on shin] and is very jealous of him as well did thought of getting rid of Gren but didnt. Simultaneously, shin found out from his informant friend that gren is part of a group helping wiith drug dealing. Shin is very shocked and thinks of leaving him own his own but as family he thought to confront Gren but as he is droving towards gren's house jakes people pretend to crash into him to delay the time. Jake knowing shin would be there goes to pick him up and letting him know that he is aware of off his actions and past and just how dangerous he is.
Gren wakes up at the scene and panics that everyone died making a run for his life back to home finding jake and shin there obviously very shocked he gets scared pointing a gun toward Jake thinking he will hurt shin and screaming shin to get away from him. Shin knowing things are getting bad and if he sides with Gren now might trigger Jake into killing him, so to protect Gren he tells him to leave and well in panic he shoots Jake.
Shin thinking to save Gren which is a portion of is worry and mostly cuz his beloved hubby got shot and says "you both cant die so if you both want live, stay with me then" decides to stay back convicing gren to run away.

After entire the drug deal thing becoming a mess Ross and gang leader gets together to blame who was the cause of this and decides to track Gren to kill him. After running away gren is on the streets losing his mind cuz of the entire ordeal and withdrawal symptoms cuz of drugs, Ross left ppl on the streets to look for him and ends up catching him and tie him up to question why he did everything.

Previously shin said i am staying near you if you will protect gren so yea when Jake once again pulled out his police uniform out and pretends to be an officer to save gren, advising him to leave the citiy for good and not to burden shin. To this point shin doesn't have an idea who Jake still is and is confused abt his identity.

But to us readers its revealed that Jake is an undercover CIA agent and his mission to track down the Ross and get evidences aginst him along with the gang.

Now its been few days everything has been operating smoothly. And a on a random Tuesday night after Shin is closing Lump Spark he feels somone has sunked into the garage and it truns out to Gren!! [Suprise bitches i am back.

Also after saving shin Jakes ends up revealing his truu identity and shin feels betrayed by it so he leaves him quitting lump spark and moves to a different town to escape all the gangs and police thing for good. But now jake also have to much free time on his so decided to stalk shin [cant stay away from his guy]
Also all of a sudden shin's informant friend decided to show up with jakes info which was impossible to get infact jake met him and gave it on his own for shin read abt him. Shin pretty much guessed that moved and accepted it.

Back to Ross well he is still losing his mind over delusion betrayal he got from shin so decides to do background check [abt time should have done it earlier] and to his suprise not only was he supposedly working with jake but also Gren's brother, which also means he found out where is Gren. [Ma baby is back] and ask his secretary to put eyes in that area to see if shin will come to meet him and take both of 'em

Gren after getting left behind by shin decides to change him self and joins a rehab center to become better after he stablizes he calls shin time to time and shin also visits him to talk and check on him since before even finding abt jakes identity.

After the scrap area incident and finding Jake's real job weeks later shin finally comes to meet Gren for the first time in awhile.
Gren tells him he is getting better and that he soon can leave and look for a job and they can leave the city together shin is very happy to see that and they just spending a good time and guess who decides to grace us with their ugly presence its the Nose job guy

He threatens them to come along quitely and takes them in abandoned warehouse and ties 'em up. And yea starts questioning them and ask shin his relationship with Jake and all, shoots Gren. Shin manages to undo his ropes attack and injured Ross's knee resulting him to flee the scene.

Shin calls jake to help but by the time he came Gren unfortunately passed away. Both of them takes his cold body and bury him shin didnt show any emotion. until he was all alone in a car by himself in front of the drive through where he had his first meal with Gren after meeting him again.

Here he decided to take revenge for his only family he had got taken away by Ross.

Shin calls Jake and tells him to let him in on his plans against Ross.

Thats the gist of the story i did leave some few minor details to keep it short nut it already got this long

Same it would make me so anxious but I decide to re-read and daon (mc) ended up with sunghyeon (his co-worker). Daon quit his job at the office, moved in with sunghyeon, and started writing webnovels again. He's now a successful author as his work got adapted into a live-action.
