Until the hospital everything was just fine in the story i still dont understand what escalated to what ever has been happening past few eps especially Nanjo's sudden decision
Now i would like to take time and admire the dream scene it was so well drwan the background colour composition was so well done and sudden switch from adult to young Mok-yeon was so good
Being rejected again and again, tossing him around from families to orphanages and nvr having a home and this is what breaks him from being rejected Nanjo shattered the entire persona Mok yeon crated for himself to protect himself from rejections and abandonment
Can I just say I am in love with Motokawa and Okumura
I was looking high and low for so good ol relaxing older cast coworkerstory and it gave me exactly what I asked for
And top it off Motokawa's personality is exactly right my alley with a reserved shy partner

Kyoji is a complicated and yet not so complicated character. On first glance he looks unreadable with not knowing what his thoughts are, but the more u read especially since the beginning his actions are easy to pick up.
The fact that after releasing from jail he could choose stay out of Satomi's life and whenever he visited Tokyo he doesn't necessarily have to meet him or respond him which was better for him rather entangling with Yakuzas
But the sole fact that he didn't and chose to stay in his life speak volumes he would come to him with just a single text no matter the distance and worry abt his safety. Even though he can see that satomi is struggling with his feelings he didnt try to shake him with pushing away or try to get closer. Instead he waited there for him to decide
When satomi confronted him he instead gave options which is more difficult cuz he didnt want to tie him down but also understood what question was implying and didn't reject him.
The conversation in the restaurant before taking the reporter was also the same he said he will be there for as long Satomi needs him. Letting Satomi decide what there relationship will be like. Seem pretty vague on his part but just cuz he does want satomi to regert choosing him and giving a free rein to walk away from this whenever he wants.
The ending got me him patting instead of hugging is his way of drawing a line and he looked back twice where as Satomi did only once
Its a open ending so this my interpretation
The look back clearly showed his feelings and Saotmi's as well, but after that Satomi nvr looked back and walked away. Whereas, Kyoji once more stopped to see if Satomi was still there, which is melancholy and kinda nice ending with a good note to readers that he has feeling for Satomi clarification.
But Satomi can still walk ahead with his future and him being older and a Yakuza can be a problem and also the fact he is not planning to leave the gang anytime sooner.
Also even tho Satomi wanted to stop meeting him but the way they part felt like they would still meet up with each other time to time.
