I’ve been thinking about the aspects of Nanjo still seeing Sunhwa as a victim and Mokyoen as the perpetrator.
I wonder why Nanjo doesn’t consider himself a victim as well. He got to experience how Mokyoen treats his “partners” during sexual encounters… with the agreement they had in place.
Is it because he started to develop feelings for him or was he afraid of what Mokyoen would do to Sunhwa in the end???????

I literally just came running from a social media platform when I saw the notice. After reading the chapter I completely understand why it got discontinued.
I don’t even know why the implication of slavery would even need to be addressed in a BL. Not only that it’s romanticizing slavery.
It’s such a huge risk to make a historical based story because you can’t sugarcoat events that were based on the oppression of people.
Especially with it being around the civil war… there was so much dehumanizing things going on for both indigenous and African American people as a whole.
I genuinely thought the story was going to be about two rouge cowboys falling in love. (⊙…⊙ )
I just want them to be friends. I don’t even care about the romance aspect at all

People are entitled to their own opinions about the latest chapter. It was a pretty intense new chapter, and the aspect of rape can be highly uncomfortable. Hell it even had me very disappointed.
