this is STRESSFULLLLL. it's super well written, but listen... i'm waiting for this arc to be complete before i start catching up. i want to see ML rip this dude's face off. i want yoshino to decimate him both mentally and physically. this is giving me GREY HAIRS.
when i started reading this i was worried it would be one of those "i make the family love me by being soooo cute and adorable (≧∀≦)" plots but no! my girl is legit terrifying! end boss villain brain trapped in tiny little girl body. love to see it, 10/10.
this story is sooo goooood, its refreshing to see how ruthless this FL is. the chapter with her sister was fantastic - its just so fun to see them addressing all of these cliche plot lines in other stories: why everyone loves OG FL out of no where, the political ramifications of breaking betrothals, ACTUALLY HAVING THE KING AND QUEEN INVOLVED.
GOD i hope purple hair kid isn't the ML, he drives me crazy. between refusing to call FL by her name (bam bam.... why...), threatening to hurt her if she ever leaves him, and now throwing a screaming tantrum over marrying FL he's at the bottom of the "possible love interests" list. i don't care how pretty he's drawn, that's an abusive boyfriend in the making.
hopefully with a better translation the story might improve because so far its a super typical "ML refreshed by FL acting crazy and falls in love". also - no spoilers but i'm calling it now, half-brother-who-is-actually-her-cousin is a love interest. he's technically not her blood sibling and he has red eyes and black hair, its over my dudes.
i feel like her behavior is super realistic since she's been so abused her whole life, but as a reader the story just isn't popping for me. i keep waiting for FL to start getting revenge or at least utilizing god ML more, something that really kick starts the plot and drama. it's been twenty chapters of FL being scared and worried with ML randomly showing up like "hey remember i can annihilate your enemies". girl please be more proactive!
i guess i thought this would a lot similar to "ebony", but with a god ML.
while that's totally expected for a recently abused person the pacing just feels bad. not my type of story i guess!

this is interesting but i feel bad for the FL..... normally these stories have something that redeems the ML's intentions towards the FL, like he was secretly in love the whole time or he slowly starts loving her. i know its early days but like.... its just her being terrified and the ML enjoying it. their eventual love is just going to be stockholm syndrome lol
Idk, he literally kills himself because of the emperor telling him to do so. I could totally see him being in love with her the whole time but still killing because of the order to do so...and then falling in love with her best friend because she lover her as much as he did and such.
But yeah right now it's just her terrified and him loving it. I personally hope we get a development arch kinda like the step mom one where he realizes he doesn't like how terrified she is and does everything he can to make her fall for him.
i feel like this has gone on too long... there's a new ML every 10 chapters and at this point i'm having problems remembering which is which. the beginning with the game screen elements was super interesting, but as soon as she was kicked out of the castle i lost interest. author, are you going to have 50 more chapters of this? （￣へ￣）
I was just about to say the same thing... It started off so good but its just dragging along atp. Now that she's back at the castle hopefully the story can finally start to pick up again.

They don't show Nadrika for a couple chapters and she starts messing around with other men. Her favorite seems to be Nadrika but she does have a harem of other guys too...
