i read a good portion of this a then dropped it awhile ago cause it was getting a little creepy, now coming back to read the comments to see if things got better but it seems like it got worse help ╥﹏╥
Spoiler warning !!
This will be quite hard to follow
Long story short, Na-in dissipates from too much sorrow, like many other dragons' mates when they feel hopeless, but Na-in doesn't completely disappear which indicates that he still has the will to live, so Amon and Gwen work together to find him.
Towards the end, Na-in gains his form fully, even through briefly. In the side story, it timeskips to 10 years later, and Na-in takes over as the ruler of trastasa, with Gwen being the only leshah, and lu turning into a mage so that he can live long and keep Na-in happy. I think you already know but Na-in ends up with both Gwen and Amon. Amon isn't the type to share but Gwen keeps Na-in happy and is important for his will to live, so Amon lets it be.
Amon had long since stepped into confinement during those ten years, he and Na-in hadn't talked once in that time and Amon also didn't seek Na-in because he came to realize that everything he did only seemed to make it worse for Na-in.
Anyway, Na-in does research on dragons to understand their emotions and eventually meets Amon for the first time and tries to love Amon anew. Amon also starts reading books to understand human emotions better and try to act more like a human, even if it's imitation at first. The important thing of all is that they both are less unhappy than before.
I dropped this a long time ago because I hate hate love triangle also this story make me uncomfortable but I'm curious to what's going on soooo... Na in fell in love to Gwen? Where did Gwen came from and why did he suddenly appear, what's his purpose? And I want to clarify, Amon likes na-in but na-in doesn't like Amon anymore? Did Amon create na-in?
Gwen has been researching on dragons for a long time to figure out a way to kill them, since they wreak havoc in humanity and cause great suffering to their mates. He fell in love at first sight when he saw Na-in.
It's a bit more complicated. Na-in feels a mixture of love and hatred towards Amon. But whether that remaining love is truly love or just Stockholm syndrome is questionable. While Na-in doesn't love Amon in the end, I do believe he can grow to love him in the future.
Na-in was a human but upon his death (which were caused by cultists that followed Amon, this is why Amon despises humans) Amon turned into a dragon and devoured him and Na-in was recreated in his stomach.
i prefer fluffy stories but i can handle angst if theres a happy ending after, im interested in if its red or green flag in general someone tell me pls >_<
I’d say it’s very angsty and it does have a lot of trigger warnings, in a way you can’t help but like the characters no matter what they do bc of their pasts making their actions kinda justifiable… and I’d also say dohun is kind of a red flag but more unraveling. Like he has his green flags and his red flags (tipping more towards red flag) btw it hasn’t ended and latest chapters are just the backstory. Also I don’t think anyone really knows what direction the ending has. Overall if you love a well written psychological this is the one if not then don’t traumatise yourself pls

I THOUGHT IT ENDED????
Did you read the main story end creator's notes?
not thoroughly ig lol, did they mention season 4 there??
