imo the beginning was a bit boring but they did a good job leaving a clue that the android wasn't just a normal robot in the early chapters, that's what made me stay reading. I think nearing the ending is the climax of the story that is so peak with the angst... And it's always the 2nd couple that seemed more interesting
but damn I agree with comment before. robot x human would never beating human x human. I think the artist did a great job tho with the drawings cuz we can see the differences of their smut scenes

The first season just finished. And tbh, it’s much better than the OG BL. Much much better in my opinion. Also, word of warning, the first season ends in an emotional cliffhanger. Nothing too bad but the wait for season 2 is going to be painful

I think unlike a lot of BL it genuinely has an incredible stand-alone plot and world setup (no spoilers but I love the novel lol). With some BLs the only thing they really have going for them is the character dynamic but this story rly has equally strong slow burn romance & grand scale supernatural plot.

Now I get why this is one of the best Hunterverse stories. But judging by the comments, I would say the first half was the tricky journey for the readers to keep going or not until the finish line. Some may like the plot, some couldn't continue it. Well everyone has preferences... I felt like giving up reading this story at first but I guess if you really wanna give this one a shot, I would say you gotta push through it until the end. That's what I did. I forced myself to finished it, I think nearing the ending that this story finally got me hooked. Finishing this 95 chapters was a quite long journey for me but now I've finished it, I gotta say a side story is a need
