Generally speaking I understand everyone who hates the inclusion of the assault scene, bc it definitely doesn't feel necessary to have to read every second of it, and I don't think Pilgyeon needed a redeeming future of any kind (like stop telling me about him idgaf). But while I was reading it I didn't get the feeling I should be enjoying what I was seeing- it felt excruciating. I was totally uncomfortable the whole time not just bc it was sexual assault but bc of how the author portrayed what was happening. There are next to no other works I've read that make me feel that way when they show me actual assault (which is too many). Granted, when I first read this work I had just come from reading "Liebling" where there was gratuitous sexual assault fcking constantly for literally no reason and was never approached with the same gravity. That's just me tho. ┐(￣ヘ￣)┌

One of my top five desert island manga. I love the lore (want to see more!) and I always love monsters and older men.

If I had to choose one manga to read for the rest of my life and could never read any others, this would be the one I chose. (｡♡‿♡｡)

I really liked this series! Except for the end, which felt a bit too noncommittal for me :/ that's the reason it gets a 4 out of 5. But for a psychological story it is excellent.

Man does it feel like so many of y'all are impatient. This story is still new, why are you in such a rush for resolution already? I laughed till I cried at sunbae saying "I'll send you my funeral portrait. You can just jack off to that." Hold onto your hats in the next chapter folks, holy shit

For everyone freaking out about Chpt 4, it goes like this: Kyouko (Neesan) is the first child of her father and his first wife (who I'm assuming died), father remarries, his second wife has a affair and produces Harumi, who is completely unrelated to both his "sister" and "father" (he literally says this at one point lol).
It's obviously still fucked up that these two (essentially) step-siblings would have sex, so Kyouko's father married her off quickly to the MC just to save face and disowns the bastard son (that again, is 100% not related to him anyway, but it seems this fact is still being kept quiet).
Hope that makes more sense now :)

Actually I'm really into this? It's so fking weird it makes me want to know what on Earth is going on. What a shake up from yhe author's last work.

Is the author just trying to stretch the story out or what they already said they would be happy poor and working hard together just do it already! It feels really OOC for Seo-an to have gone back like, come ooon
