If anyone us curious, I read the novel a while ago, this is your last warning, it's all gonna be spoilers
1. Ml is scheming to make the evil aunt and her rapist boyfriend pay for treating mc wrong. It's gonna look like he doesn't protect our mc for some time, but that's just because he is going according to his plan to ruin their lives. The auntie will end up in deep debt and the rapist boyfriend will get his arm cut off by ml. This will scare mc a lot and he will be afraid of ml for some time.
2. Mc will get into huge trouble because of his relatives. There will be a misunderstanding+runaway arc in which ml thinks mc schemes with his relatives against him. But it will not take long for it to be sorted out.
3. Mc will meet his mother again. The one who put him in debt. She will try to reconcile, but he will choose stability with Ml over her. She will commit suicide. It's heavily implied in the novels that ml coerced her to do it.
4. They will obv get a happy ever after
The Korean publisher basically canceled the story midway, before we even got the English translation. So the artist had to compress everything into a couple of chapters. Blame the publisher

Please help me if you've read the novel! I'm dropping this manhwa at chapter 24 due to 2 reasons:
1. There is no chemistry or tension between the leads
2. The plot doesn't make much sense (it also feels disconnected and boring, as if it should have been explained better)
I know the novel is very praised by readers, but please tell me if the manhwa does it justice? Like will I have the same feeling if I try reading the novel? Or is it a lot better then manhwa in that sense?
This is so weird to me because I find the art very cute, but every other comment is just hating. Like yall are so spoiled nowadays, this is good art for a long ahh manhwa. It has its flaws but it's still very good. And as for the crowd mad about necks, nipples, proportions etc etc... how come yall are never in the comment under "swallow you whole" or other buff on buff manhwas? Like the guys there are so muscular, they wouldn't be able to scratch their shoulder or wipe their butts, but yall have no problem with it. It's as if new age wokejoshis just discovered yaoi that's older then 2 years and try to apply their own preferences on it. I'm sorry - this is just what yaoi is for the most part! Big hands and long necks and huge eyes - it's been known. Maybe try to read something from the early 2000s to realize that this is actually good art.
