Hmm it’s so-so for now. How tf are you Paganini when you’re gonna be bested by a high schooler during a performance lmao well he is a high school student for now maybe that’s why he’s immature.

Everything’s all well tho a bit average, except for the fact my blood pressure rises at the fact he has a whole ass loving father who RAISED him and his brother, and he’s chasing after the woman who left them whatt??? So many stories have the same troupe but reverse the gender and the father will be unredeemable, just because she’s a ‘mother’ the author thinks it’s an excuse lol Idc what sad backstory reason there is at least communicate with your family

Well it’s all fictional so no point in finding reason for something essential to create some “drama”. It’s still not well written tho compared to Kono Oto Tomare

While the main plot stays the same, a lot of details are changed in the manhwa and the placement of arcs as well.

For example, the fight with the barbairans occurred months before the war with Count Desmond. The Ironcliff arc in the novel happened right before the war with count Desmond too and it was just Kaor, Ghislain, and 50 knights; a significant change I must say, as this is the main driving force in the manhwa because Ghislain was away.

HOWEVER! I personally LOVE the changes made. While I love the more detailed descriptions in the novel and how it delved deeper into what is happening within the territory (like the creation of Galbanium, training the elves for mounted archery, starting a new delivery business, road construction etc.), the manhwa has its own special charm that fits it perfectly.

The manhwa skips those mundane chapters and specific arcs that focuses on territory development. And while that may be the reason there’s quite a few plot holes, it suits the tone of the manhwa and it might not be as hype were they to follow the novel faithfully. Basically, the writer for the manhwa decided to completely change the order of things and leave out some scenes to comply to what they deem best for the manhwa adaptation. And I rarely say this but it works! At least for this series it works.

This is one of those series where it would be a totally different experience to read the novel vs the manhwa. I enjoy and love both so I’ll be reading the novel and continue the manhwa once it has more chapters.

Some changes I’ve observed:
- With Amelia’s rebellion, one of her brothers got away due to mc’s intervention to keep her in check

- The fight with the barbarians happened months before the war with house desmond, and Kustu (i forgot if this is the correct name) didn’t receive “orders to attack”, he simply decided that on his own due to Ghislain’s actions

- THE ELVES! I was wondering where they were in the manhwa, maybe they’ll get introduced later but they got introduced in the novel way earlier

- The iconic horse’s nickname is ‘Bean’, and mc initially wanted to name him black bean but his vassals protested so he changed it to black king

- I love the introduction of minor characters like that one chapter with the spies for count desmond and one of them decided they’d rather be a construction worker in Fenris due to the salary

- bro that small span of episodes focusing on recruitment of administrators was fun! He made contracts for fresh graduates for 20 yrs and veterans for 30 yrs

- this one is a personal opinion of mine, but I love how in the manhwa they decided to make this sort of bickering relationship b/n Kaor and Lucas, cause in the novel they don’t

I agree in the sense that the ending was a bit rushed and how they rapidly developed the state of the relationship between Youngkuk and Yeonsu, but before I read this and seeing all the negative comments regarding that, I honestly expected so much worse.

Guys, I’m telling you that this is one of the best romance you can get from a regression manhwa such as this one. Of course I’m not saying it’s “really great” but at least try opening your minds and hearts on as to why YK developed feelings for YS.

I really thought from the way the comments were getting that they had no deep connection or whatsoever, but looking back there were quite a lot of plot holes imo about certain events after & during filming as well as their school life. A lot of behind the scenes were not stated in the story so it’s safe to assume YK and YS interacted a lot in those missing cuts.

I didn’t adore the couple from Medical Return as much as I adored these two.

I started reading this with moderate expectations, but I did not expect to absolutely love what story it’s trying to portray. I am especially fond of the earlier arcs when YK was a young boy.

Please give it a try! My advice on doubting to read these types is to just fuck it and start reading the first 5 chapters. You like it? Great! It wasn’t that amazing? That’s okay not everyone will deem it so. But if you do try to like it, just enjoy the journey!( ^_^)/~~~
