Binge reading this now, it's a fun enjoyable story. But Dobin at the start of the story vs Dobin now seem like two completely different people (he also looks about a decade younger). I miss his calculating, calm, mature personality. Now, at times, the way he acts feels juvenile.
This, latest chapter, was a difficult read. This is why I'll never judge vigilantes.
I wonder if mc will start doing things not by the book or if it's going to be ml doing stuff behind his back to help him. Hope it's the former.

The only person who truly cared about Erna in this story was Lisa. Erna's grandmother was one of the biggest disappointments. Just because Björn loves Erna, she has to go back to him? Is the only way for a woman to be happy if she's loved by a man? Even if that love is expressed in all the wrong ways?
This is a very good reminder why I stopped reading these historical romances. The theme of 'trashy man feels sad so a woman must forgive him and love him' is far too common.

I'm on ch11 and genuinely confused why people would be upset about mc supposedly throwing away a drink and a note. He didn't do it but even if he did, he has a right to do that. No one is obligated to accept things like that from strangers. Especially when the gift wasn't given from the goodness of a heart but because they had a romantic interest in them. Sure, it's not very nice but is it really that big of a deal? I wouldn't take it personally, I'd just take it as that person is simply not interested and move on. Am I a problem for not understanding?

"No, it's not like that...", "it's really not like that" doesn't elaborate further. Can main characters stop doing that in almost every bl story? Speak up. If you get interrupted, speak over them. Explain things. In-chan is not some meek character who can't think or talk for himself. Maybe it's not that deep but it's pretty tiring to see authors pull this move every time to create some drama.
Did Taerim's older brother have incestuous feelings towards him? At the hotel Taerim asked his brother if he's going to give him an aphrodisiac again. Why would a brother do that? Also, author mentioned in the afterword that he used to sneak in to Taerim's room at night.
This situation alone is a reason why the story doesn't work as short series because it's not like Taerim and Ijeong can live happily ever after when that kind of brother is involved. He wouldn't just let Taerim slip out of his grasp. I hope, someday, when the author feels more confident in their skills, they will pick up this story again.
