He can be red at times (iirc) but not completely. I don't believe there's any non-con but I can't remember exactly, sorry. MC just forces himself to have sex with ML sometimes, so take that as what you will. For the top, he's a cold, emotionally stunted person and that causes a lot of issues between them, along with him being horrible at communication (well, both of them really) so if you dislike miscommunication then probably don't read it. He actually cares about mc and expresses it in his own way that mc doesn't understand. They both have different views on expressing affection and the top, like I said before, is not very warm to him and can't understand why mc is upset and hurt unless mc tells him. They both have different expectations of one another that clash. MC is suffering a lot being in the family but ml can't understand it, and a lot of things happen behind ml's back from family members toward mc so ml doesn't know the full extent of how much mc has suffered. ML has issues with empathy and understanding mc. They both misunderstand each other.

It's not so black-and-white describing him using flags, so you need to look outside of this rigid view a bit and look at the context instead.

^ when I mean red I don't mean rape or having intentions of hurting MC. It's just a toxic situation emotionally and mentally. He doesn't harm him physically.
