I don't understand the hate towards buzzcut dude? Sure, he messed up with the "thank you" thing and I myself was annoyed by that, but hating on the guy because... *checks notes* he's already into someone else and was honest about it instead of trying to use our girl to move on, failing, and ultimately playing with her feelings and stringing her along like so many male characters do in shoujos is weird.
People (and fictional characters in this case) are allowed to not reciprocate someone else's feelings, and as long as they're not a douchebag about it that's completely fine. And as far as I remember, he didn't particularly give her false hopes or give her the impression he was into her.

Is that why he behaves in this weird way? Bro feels like an alien trying and desperately failing at acting like a human being. That part when Damian was like "um so..." and Donovan was like "Mm."????? BRO TF DO YOU MEAN MM YOUR SON DIDN'T EVEN SAY ANYTHING YET.
But then Demetrius also acts super weird like his father, so maybe it wasn't a brain surgery after all. Is it hereditary? Were they both experimented on? Is that why Anya couldn't read his thoughts? Does he have some mental barrier that blocks espers AND social cues and feelings of awkwardness? Is he more of a "no thoughts, head empty" kind of dude? (That wouldn't make any sense since he excels at his subjects). What could possibly explain just how out of depth these two seem to be?
And Melinda. Man she was so uncomfortable, totally the opposite of how she acts around Yor and her other friends. If I didn't vividly remember her thoughts regarding Damian after the bus incident, I would've thought she was normal. I wonder what her story is...
