So I got impatient and decided to read the novel. It is safe to say that I hate the manhwa now. When I read the part where emperor spend the night at mc's place (basically having sex) my first thought was this emperor is a jerk.
And then I decided to read the novel, and guess what? There is no such a scene in the novel. I am at around 100 chapter and there is no smut scene at all. This is just a story about 2 people finding and learning about love. The emperor was afraid of love while the mc was very new to the feeling of being loved. The image I have of the emperor is a kid that is giddy about his first love, fr.
I don't understand with manhwa these days, like, why do they need to add some kind of rape stuff when it was just fine for this to be shonen ai. ಠ︵ಠ

I agree with all of this. The novel was such a wholesome read. So, when the artist decided to include a scene where the emperor basically forced himself on Hwaun, my disappointment was immense
bruh this happened with 'I'm Not Your Guide to Destiny' aswell. I hate when manhwa authors do this, it makes the story get worse instead of better so I don't understand the reason of adding in grape.

This is why I said one of them or neither. There is a huge change that the green guy can bring capo back to live, not as the capo we know but a different being entirely with his memory wiped clean.
If author was generous enough (which I don't think they are ಥ‿ಥ) capo can be revived with locked memory and when he meets mc (forgot his name) his memory will be unlocked and they can get out of there together. (Just my innocence poured in this hope )

The reason I still read this manhwa was only because I don't have other manhwa I can read. The more I read this the more it bore me. Mc is a support yes but he didn't really give any much support in action. If he is a dps, he didn't give much like any other action manhwa I read. The only good thing about him is that he gives good advice to his friends but that's it. I actually like the premise of a support got isekai-ed, but just like I said, not much support in this and not much action from mc.
The recent chapter 44, he didn't do much at all, his weapon did all the work and he left it at the statue to go to the girl which I thought he would support in anyway but no? Just talking and go back to his weapon? Idk, this is me rambling cause I really hope this manhwa turns out great but it hasn't ╥﹏╥
I have read up to season 2 and it was alright, but the part from where the emperor died until the latest update felt like really rushed. Mc tried to tame the cube but then the idea felt scrapped off cause after taming 1 cube it was not mentioned again until it got stolen and mc take it back. Then the emperor, that should have been the all powerful figure, died just because the knights around her also dead? It was a story about collecting cubes and mc tried to prevent it from getting stolen but it still ended up getting stolen. It just felt like they cut off many stuff that could have been a good plot and just ended it absurdly. Then adding weird new plot that doesn't differ much from the original novel, mc also forgot many things and going from being very smart to very stupid in any decision he makes. I think I'm gonna stop at chapter 63 for now
