I'm known around school as the straight-A student so everyone assumes I'll just naturally be good at everything--students and staff alike. "Oh, you're ____, so this must be easy for you," and "Why are you so worried about the test, you always get A's" are comment remarks that I get. And I sort of get it, like, I know I'm a more-capable-than average...... 6 reply
I used to really want to fit in with a certain social group, and since I had plans to throw my bday party at Disneyland, I invited a bunch of the people I wanted to hang out with instead of the friends I'd already had for 3+ years. I love spicy food but I have a low tolerance for it. So like, I'll get a bag of Takis, drown it in Valentina and Tabasco sauce, and smother it with Tajin and pepper... and then promptly become red-faced and teary. Like my tastebuds will be wrecked for days but imo it's worth it because of my love for that spice. reply
