It was mid. The best part was the art…over half of the story is told in flashback and it just feels like it drowns itself in disposition. I feel like I’m watching the characters tell me a story versus actually seeing the story for myself if that makes sense. It’s just chapters on top of chapters of uneeded exposition and lore dumping only for it to turn into an immediate 18+ steamy scene the second the exposition is over. The story assumes the reader has 0 reading comprehension because everything is laid out for you and there’s nothing left for the reader to infer about the character’s or plot, I haven’t read the novel so maybe it’s better…but the manhwa seems like it wants to be this massively complex and deep story…like it wants to be something way bigger than what it actually is and yet the author doesn’t give enough room for it to actually breathe and grow because the moment you begin to feel attached to characters or curious about what happens next…you’re thrown into 5-10+ chapters of panels of somebody sitting down telling you about what happened instead of actually watching events unfold. It was a bit let down because I was excited in the beginning to see their dynamic and relationship bloom…and then the initial 20 chapter flashback occurred which I powered through and then an addition 20-30 chapters later on of just someone telling you about the main characters rather than them showing you anything about themselves besides how Hor** they are.
I would’ve loved this if it wasn’t so focused on SA all the time. Poor suha. He was written as if he has one brain cell and then just tossed around by all the different dudes…I don’t understand the hype for the story or the ML’s attractiveness? He looks horrible…I just couldn’t buy that anyone would think ML is the most attractive guy in the room. Gang SA seems like it was added solely for shock value…
Heavily overrated manhwa imo
Bruh the random SA is INSANEEEE. And then it’s just brushed over as if it’s no biggie by literally ALL the characters??? This actually made me debate dropping it. It was almost like a rushed SA scene and then the author didn’t wanna deal with writing story that addresses what happened so he swiped it under the rug and moved on…how can an SA happen halfway through the chapter and then by the end of the same chapter, no one cares….
I know all the comments are negative but I felt like the story was beautiful and actually made me tear up at the end. Far from perfect however it’s exactly what I wanted the possessive ML was everything. A little bit of plot skipping throughout the middle of the story but it’s only 67 chapters and it’s not like it’s meant to be a several hundred chapter series. It accomplished its goal very well and is just an overall feel good heartwarming story if you’re not looking to analyze it like it’s Romeo and Juliet. Read it at face value and you’ll enjoy it. The drama was half way decent but never fully fleshed out. It feels like they could’ve made it into a 100+ chapter manhwa if they rlly wanted to expand on each of the plot points a bit more. The main villain/villainess are dealt with fairly easily and the climax of the story seems to happen out of the blue with plot twists that don’t seem to make sense…however, as I said…we aren’t here praising this story in schools, so just not it.
