So uhm... First thoughts (chapter 10) I don't think I like the ml, I don't see romance potential in him at all, I'm not the type to only consume romance media, but I don't see him together with the mc. Can someone spoil me a bit on how he changes?
Yeah they end up together in the end. And I’ll agree with you even with knowing (I’ve reread this) it still doesn’t make sense to me at times. Other then the romance the story is really good and I’ll say that part is worth staying for
I still don't understand the ml, I don't know his intention and why he wants to control the mc so much. I mean, I thought he'd be more empathetic or something but all he thinks about is how easy the mc was to control? I feel bad for the mc, to think it happened on his birthday too
Honestly, I took it as ML not knowing how to love “normally”, so being in total control would mean that the MC would be his, and thus unable to leave him.
I think ML believe that being in control (have power over someone or something) is the only way to keep everything going as he had planned.
Since his childhood, he seemed to learn that being perfect but powerless is meh. Then being powerful and got feared by others, apparently is a good control mechanism to have what he wanted, as planned.
