im kinda giggly and fuzzy at all this ... this is such a looong term relationship kinda fight, goes to show just how close theyve truly became .... these arguments don't happen with someone you don't care about/ doesn't care about you...
i understand where both of them are coming from. unlike a few years back, their relationship is thankfully at a point where they both /know/ each other, so despite the current situation being painful i keep thinking that it's only a matter of communication more than anything else... they both work so hard to make the other happy, it's only natural that they feel dissatisfied when the other person doesn't seem to appreciate their efforts.

first time in years ive cried while reading something... even if I'm reading on a crowded bus, a cold train station, my works bathroom, i can feel what they're feeling, listen to what they're listening, see what they see. the warmth, the cold, the ecstasy and the depression are all represented so carnally and beautifully. i see myself in every single one of these characters, both the best and worst parts of them.
i can't find the exact words to use right now, but the term that keeps on defining this story for me is 'human.' a story can carry the author's soul, it can carry the character's souls, but very, very few times does the story as a whole develop a soul of its own. i can only dream of making something half as meaningful as this one day. im not the same person i was before i read this, im so grateful to be alive, have internet access, and know english.
