AND disregarding the fact this is a romance bl manhwa, until now this is just Workplace Harassment: the comic. probably I'll grow to like seheon more as the story progresses, when he stops being such a jerk, but as of ch 10 these are my fisrt impressions

OMG WHO CARES YOU HURT HIS FEELINGS HE WAS LITERALLY CHOKING YOU A MINUTE AGO. YOU CAN LITERALLY FILE A LAWSUIT AGAINST HIM FOR ABUSE OF POWER AND WORK HARASSMENT

I think i wouldn't be this angry and frustrated with this story if seheon had at least ONE redeeming quality, not even his sad past moved me "oooh my parents abandoned me so now i humiliate my subordinate who had a loving father" boohoo
And i simply can't fathom why the mc is trying so much to please this man, he isn't in this firm by choice, and the can't exactly easily fire him either, so at this point just stay there until your sister is satisfied and then quit. Better have peace of mind than tolerate being humiliated at every interaction you have with this manchild

Okay it's clear that I'm having a miserable time reading this, i really wanted to like this manhwa bc all I see is people saying that it's a great bl but all i see is a spineless mc and a jerk ml, idk if the sexual tension everyone talks about is clear in the first 20 ch, but all I saw was humiliation, workplace harassment, abuse of power and a threat to sexual coercion.

I'm not here on a moralist mission or what not, but their dynamic as of rn (ch 18) is just giving me the ick, specially bc there's a clear difference in power between the two of them, idk maybe office romance between people that aren't in equal footing that involves any sort of enemies to lovers irks me bc (almost) always involves some sort of abuse. But I think what is frustrating the most is that the ml acts as he pleases with mc, humiliating him at every opportunity and the mc is here blushing and thinking about ml's feeling and just ignoring all of the red flags, I'd be definitely raging and filing a lawsuit against ml at this point if I was im mc's shoes.

I REALLY wanted to like this, but I saw myself prefering to be skinned alive than continuing to read this. I'm glad a lot of people enjoyed this, but it's just not for me it seems, so I'm dropping.

Maybe someday in the distant future I give this another chance, but as of rn it's a no for me.

Rightt omg I started reading this since everyone was hyping it up so hard but he really is an asshat TT I’ve noticed that a lot of readers tend to have some crazy peak-end bias where if the ending is cute they forget all the annoying stuff that happened in the rest of the story…
