Man mc really wasn't a professional teacher at the time when him and ml met each other i mean he was only a college student then, so understandable, but really which adolescent wouldn't interpret things as more than a student-teacher relationship glad he recognized that he was at fault and that his actions that caused things to develop like that, he had almost his whole prefrontal cortex completely developed while acting intimately with a teenager. I'M NOT SAYING HE GROOMED ML OR DID ANYTHING ON PURPOSE, we all know it was guilt then it was genuine affection riddled with guilt, but this whole relationship was extremely unprofessional even if it wasn't inherently romantic or sexual. But all this is understandable when you remember that they inly have an age gap of 5 years and mc was only a college student and he just felt responsible to help ml and that they were kind of friends, but ml being a teenager still felt all of this as more emotional and took it to the romantic rode
