Ngl but I feel like this story would have been better if the cut the director out and left the three other as they are but made the two friends get back together and showed how they can’t live without one another even if on dies but that’s just my opinion

For me, it's already been too far down the hole even without the director. Taejoon made the decision to cut all ties with yoon and that other dude just made Taejoon act even worse. If Yoon and Taejoon got back together, it wouldn't be the best relationship anymore. In my opinion especially if were going through the plot and all, it's so late for Taejoon to get back with Yoon cause he's 1. Gotten with someone else 2. Literally broke Yoon down into so many breakdowns. Like hell, Yoon just woke up after a 5 year coma to see that you've gotten with someone else within those 5 years of absence? Thats such a douch move. Even if the life lesson was like what you gave, their relationship had already gone down to hell and you could no longer fix it. In short, it all leads down to the idiocy that is Taejoon. Regardless of what he went through, if he knew his love and yearning for Yoon was as strong as he thought, he would have NEVER gotten with another person. What he would've done is stay close to his suppirt system and stay hopeful for Yoon. But did he do that? No.

taejoo wasn't dating youngwoo instantly when hayoon went missing though. it's been told in the story that he tried to searching for hayoon, even gave up on his job and basically just mourn days and nights because hayoon couldn't be found everywhere and he didn't know the latter was badly bedridden. on four first years, he tried to get back together with his life. his relationship with youngwoo was lasting from the fifth year

2024 here but Taejoon spent 4.5 years pinning for MC. He literally only started going out with Youngwoo 6 months before mc woke up from the coma. Keep in mind Taejoon has no clue MC is alive at this point. Is he not allowed to move on? Is he supposed to just wait for MC until he dies? Is supposed to wait 10 years? 20 years?

He also only treated Youngwoo well because he was manipulated into thinking he SAed Youngwoo.

back in the day, marrying or having kids with their siblings or other family members is normal!

here is a better definition :

The same reason Old Testament figures in the Bible had to have married siblings. With a limited number of beings available in the various creation stories, and frequently the second generation of created things emerging from a single pair of parents, where else are they going to find a mate?

Mind you, that’s not absolute. In many cases, creatures in Greco-Roman mythology emerge out of chaos. For instance, in Hesiod’s Theogony, we have from Chasm/Chaos figures like Gaia, Erebos, Nyx, and Eros spontaneously forming. They have nobody else to mate with, though they are arguably siblings that emerge from androgynous Chaos.

Nyx and Erebus mate so that Nyx can give birth to Air and Day, but if Air and Day were to have kids, their only choices for mates would be each other or one of their aunts/uncles. Limited mythological population logically necessitates incest.

Then you have Earth/Gaia give birth to Uranus, the sky. The parentage is unclear—the fertilization might be parthenogenetic, but if she did mate to produce him, it would have to have been with Chaos, her father, or one of her siblings, or one of her nieces/nephews. No other options are available to her.

After producing Uranus, she takes her son as a lover. (Why not? Every other option would also be incestuous), and Earth and Sky then go nuts with a population explosion to produce Titans, Cyclopes, monsters like the Hecatonchoires. By the time the Titan Cronos is devouring his kids, and Zeus rebels and frees his siblings from Cronos’ stomach, Zeus again has an incest problem. He can mate with various unappealing monsters (but many of them are of the wrong gender). Many of the Titans have been locked away in Tartarus. He could (and does not) mate with his mom Rhea, he could (and does) mate with a few female Titans who are his aunts (such as Metis and Dione), and he could (and does) mate with nymphs and naiads (who are also his aunts or his nieces/nephews/cousins), or he could mate with his sister.

There is literally nobody in existence for the gods to mate with except relatives. So, sibling-mating makes a nice symmetry, especially since there were six female Titans and six male Titans who were couples in the older generation, and now there are six Olympian gods and six Olympian goddesses who are taking over their older domains of earth, sea, and sky.

    hope this helps!! ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

yes that is true but the story is based on Greek mythology, so I guess what I am trying to say is that story is not focusing on the time we live today, It talks about the past and it can be very confusing for people who have not studied Greek mythology!! if you do a little bit about research, I am sure you will understand !! Life back then is not the same today and you need to understand that! Marrying their siblings and uncles or aunts was a way to show that they stand above humans !! Now if you are still confused, I advise you do some research yourself about Greek mythology!! and I know that the time we live today is very different from the past and we think marrying and having kids with your family members was wrong but back then it was pretty normal since they believed they were god themself. Since they bedeviled they were gods themself and they needed to find a way to stand above humans and having kids with their siblings and aunt and uncles was the way back then!! I hope this helps you understand!! ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
