Usually I don’t agree with people’s usual comments on manhwas just cause I feel like ppl be lowkey ungrateful or doing to much but this is absolutely ridiculous, This story was beautiful I aged with this story it’s been out and finished with a beautiful ending for a while now. But the author completely ruined it I’m not even gonna read this cause it just makes no damn sense, usually I love angst and redemption arcs bro give me the toxic shit I’m front row but this story doesn’t even fit that all like some stories are just meant to have that toxicness in it at the beginning than sunshine and rainbows at the end, how did it go from sunshine and rainbows to this bs . Ima just wait to see how it ends when the author releases the last chapter but like it makes no sense also they’ve been away from each other for like 2 years and when he finally finds him it’s “I want a kid” are we sooo dead serious right now and then TAESAUNG RAP*S HIM no way I don’t believe it this is a alternate universe and my cherry blossoms after winter ended on chapter 146
Okay I like the story it’s cute but I wish we’d get something more it feels like the same thing every time I need some angst, chasing arc I feel like the dude likes him, but there’s no emphasis and like no real showing of that I feel like they need to speed this up a little bit. It feels kind of played out, but I like the story tho
this story has so much wasted potential as a character-driven drama. it's not even like the smut had to be sacrificed for that when exploring juhyeok's feelings and desires towards suah even in the midst of his fears, insecurities, and ambitions could have driven the events of the story a lot more (and even without the assault and rape!). the characters are kind of outlined without really getting fleshed out.
as it is, I'm left unsatisfied and wondering why anything that has happened so far would result in the emotional beats the narrative is now trying to hit.
