There's this app called pleco. It's like a really good dictionary of sorts for mandarin Chinese, you can practice characters and a ton of other stuff too.
Also if you have no idea where to start, search up HSK 1 study materials, that's a good place to start. (HSK is like the Chinese equivalent of IELTS, there's 6 levels)
