I really want to marinate this but I've been seeing a lot of post and I cave in!!!! Ugh now I'll have to suffer while waiting for each episode to drop :(((

Can someone please recommend a manhwa similar to this? Fluffy and sweet

yestyongday June 14, 2026 5:00 pm

This is beautiful. I want them to be happy. Both suffered and hurt each other. With stories like this, I usually want both lead to not end up together. But for these two, they are too broken to live without each other. Unfortunately, they won't be able to find happiness elsewhere. So the only thing they can do is to help eachother, as they work through living life and finding happiness again. I really love the side stories. I love how both of the acknowledge the uncertainty and the things they need to work on. Both of them know they both hurt each othwr, but they have also accepted that despite everything, they still want each other.

I couldn't careless about the side cpuple. They came out of nowhere, and had little exposure during the main story.

I like it but I also don't like it.

I hate how Aeroc was the only one who knew about what happened, Kloff was more evil than him and he should have suffered as well. It was obvious that what Kloff did to Aeroc the first life was not his revenge for Rapiel. I think what he felt and his thought during the second life was similar to the first one. He didn't love Rapiel. He only settled for him because Aeroc was out of his league and he was an alpha. He was obsessed with him, imprisoned him coz it was his way of owning Aeroc, it wasn't to avenge Rapiel, it was only an excuse. But yeah, I wish he remembered what he did (not just think that it was a dream coz it didn't do anything to him), I wanted him to regret everything he did I wanted him to hurt!!!

Finished reading this. Usually, I hate it when the other lead is a minor, coz it doesn't add value to the story. But for this one, the age of Jiho was important and a hug part of his character, decision, and how impulsive and indecisive he is. I also love how the trauma that he good from his upbringing was still evident even when Woojung already took him in. The author really portrayed that part beautifully.

I just didn't like the side stories. I hate it when the author waste side stories on smut. But yeah, definitely one of my fave! Regretted how I dropped this.multiple times in the past.

yestyongday June 11, 2026 1:49 pm

I'm at chapter 53, and I don't like how vague their relationship is. Jiho is paranoid because he thinks he's nothing to Woojung, and Woojung is not making it clear what their relationship is.

What the fuck, felt like it ended out of nowhere??? Was it discontinued

I want moooore

yestyongday May 18, 2026 2:30 pm

Just finish reading this. I hope the epilogue doesn't focus on sex scenes. I wish to see them live a normal life. Chaon going back to school and maybe Sehan working or something.

yestyongday May 18, 2026 12:43 pm

What's with manhwa author and their obsession with rape? I get it, for some story it's necessary for the plot. But for this one? They kidnapped him, broke his ankle, the rape part was unnecessary. If they want to get a reaction out of Sehan, beating Chaon up is enough.

Also, why the fuck did the author nerfed Chaon? Where's my feisty boy at? Ugh

It was one of the most gross and rape fetish scenes I've ever seen. Like you said, sometimes it can be handled well. This just looked like the author got off on it, it was so over the top and graphic.

exactly. and it happened twice? the drug + rape thing was just disgusting. If it resulted into a trauma and had Chaon hating on Sehan for a while, then I guess it had its purpose. But no! Nothing came out of it. Sehan could have reacted the same way he did if he saw Chaon beaten up.

This is what I find so disgusting and cheap about this author and her rape scenes: 1. she makes it very graphic, 2. it's very violent to the point of bones being broken, and 3. the bottom and top just get over it and have rough sex after. She makes it come across as a fetish bc it has no emotional weight afterwards but is so graphic during the moment. I hate it.

(meanwhile something like potn had a violent assault that stopped just before it crossed the line, and the plot focused on the fallout and nakyum's trauma afterwards. it wasn't cheaply thrown in and had a huge impact on both of the characters).

A large percentage of the people who enjoy reading/wrighting romanticized rape in fiction are survivors of SA. It's common to even fantasize in their own head. It's actually a healthy coping skill referred to as "reclaiming your narrative" and is essentially the same technique as making jokes about your trauma. It largely helps get past the awful feelings of self-disgust common in victims. It isn't for everyone, but it does help many.

My closest friend was victimized 3 times by 3 different people from the age of 7 to 16. As an adult, she spent years writing a trilogy about a badass female superhero who falls in love with her sadistic captor. Writing that story allowed her to speak about what she went through, gave her the courage to open up to her supporters, and confront and cut ties with the abuser who was still in her life. She doesn't need to write that story anymore.

It's okay to not like it, it's okay to say its a horrible and disgusting crime. But PLEASE be careful of who you insult when doing so. You could very well be doing harm to the very victims you're trying to defend.

*pretending it doesn't happen is not the solution*

Where tf are you coming from? I'm talking about rape written cheaply that is clearly fetishized and romanticized in bl manhwa and you're going on a therapy session. You read what you wanted and wrote yourself an essay without comprehending any of the context.

I'm talking about your comments about the author. You can dislike it all you want, I myself can barely read it without getting sick to my stomach, but the author doesn't need to cater to your or my preferences. There's a good chance they had normal and healthy reasons for writing how they did. And plenty of people like you think they're doing a good and just thing by shaming the author, but it's the opposite. Why don't you go ridicule the actual rapists in your neighborhood instead of throwing insults to people you know nothing about.

Don't get me wrong, I completely respect and agree with almost everything you said, who wouldn't? But your comment "it just looked like she got off on it" is really harmful. You seemed like a person who actually cares about real life victims of rape so I thought I'd help educate you, guess I was wrong.

I'll also throw this out there even though you don't care.

South Korean laws don't consider it rape unless there are threats or violence. Non-con doesn't count, and neither do all the "no, wait, stop!"s you see in yaoi. 70% to 90% of assult victims report their assult did not include threats or violence. Because of these laws, its estimated that only %10 of these cases are even reported. 21.3% of women in South Korea are raped and thats only 10% of what gets reported.

These women aren't rape fetishists, they're using their own experiences to help write their books. And you're calling them disgusting. And then patting yourself on the back like you did something good.

You don't care about rape victims, you just aren't entertained by it. You can't say that though because everyone would say to you exactly what I'm gonna say; Don't read it then.
