I think he already knows.. not sure but he suspected the other guy is a cop even tho he hadn’t spent much time with him at that moment. So probably he knows that both of them are cops..
I guess he’s that type of a character that looks a bit stupid and clueless but actually is quite smart. Well at least it would make sense, otherwise he wouldn’t be the boss..

one of my favorite ongoing stories so far. the characters, art, and pacing is so good
that was rough. it’s only gonna get worse before it gets better
it only makes sense that a story like this with a built up plot not be a weekly release. hope the author takes care of themselves and takes all the time they need
