amon does NOT understand, it's a fact. @TypeS is reading with their eyes closed. nain was literally the one that suggested having sex, when amon asked him what he wanted as punishment. you can even see that amon was hurt/shocked (as much as he can react ig) by his response and asked if nain saw sex with him as punishment. he called it a punishment after because NAIN called it a punishment. simple as that. does it excuse amon's actions? absolutely not.
