In chapter 80, it’s confirmed that the bird is the mother. But did they really have to kill her off? The author could have easily written it as she converted into a human and she survived. But nope, they just had to kill her off for good. Despite the character and the audience getting used to her

I enjoyed the story a lot, but the ending was a tad bit rushed. I wonder what happened to the maid spy and I feel bad for Louise. Though I feel like his character could have been fleshed out a bit more, as he felt important and I kept on waiting, but nothing ever happened. I do love our main couple though and how smitten the ml is
