the title is exactly what i wanted to stress. in the book of revelation, specifically revelation 21:1-7, God is referred to as the alpha and the omega. i’ll leave the direct excerpt below and a TL;DR after:

“1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.”

TL;DR… God and Jesus are supreme in everything, and a metaphor that expresses this in layman’s terms is “alpha and omega”, which is synonymous with “end and beginning”. just because this manhwa includes this terminology AND mpreg doesn’t mean it’s omegaverse.
i love this story a lot, and as a Catholic, i’m totally enthralled by all of the religious symbolism, distorted and perverted as it may be. can’t wait to analyze the next chapter ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
i wrote a review of this around chapter 27, just picked this back up… still have no idea what’s going on. my biggest gripe at that point was that the art experienced such a severe decline it looked like storyboards rather than a finalized chapter, and honestly the art does a lot of the heavy lifting with this.
sometimes, i’m more than happy to sit back, relax, and just look at the gorgeous art because i’m not following the plot at all. but there’s always an itch in the back of my head, “would i understand this better if i wasn’t american?” like, there’s got to be cultural significance to the symbolism, be it from joseon-era korea or manchuria. i have NO idea where to start researching to get a better understanding of what the fuck is happening, and all i can think is, “whatever the author is smoking, i REALLY want i

on a scale of 1-10, can someone please tell me how much i’m going to cry while reading this??? i just saw this recommended on tiktok (so obviously i need to read it) but the summary seems super dramatic and serious. i cry very easily ☹ but i’ll still read it, probably
You'll probably be crying from frustration then from sadness but a 6.7
tbf its not that sad for me but the art def will make u emotional, if anything it makes me horny as hell in the latest chaps
Didnt make me cry. It intense in the sense that it makes you understand how much piano means to the characters, not because its a super intense plot. At least in latter half. First half has more plot but it like the prequel to what happening now.
I cried one time because I've always wished I have someone that will love despite seeing my worst
