I like the emotional ups and downs + the MC and ML’s relationship and characters+ their gang. Other than that i fucking hate everything else some icky moments (not between mcs) i legitimately had to skip over (just my personal opinion)
My advice to anyone planning to read is to marinate this to completion,,, unfortunately i cant take my own advice cuz i cant stop keeping up with it and getting slightly ragebaited every now and then
same twin, i keep saying I'll drop but i am rooting for the improvement, i also don't like the disgusting stuff(especially the sex scenes), but i think its necessary for the world building and character but still the author should die it down a little.
Yep, i do agree with the notion that the author should dial down the sex stuff, although some ppl are okay with it. Personally i feel that even tho i can understand how it serves the plot and characters, i rlly feel like it could've had the same impact without being explicitly shown as much as it is (i feel like most people skip over the sex scenes between ban and ray anyways ) ,, i suppose its a matter of tolerance but i also believe its not wrong to have some criticisms
Its an interesting plot but seme has alot of baggage and i can understand why some ppl might dislike that.
I have to preface, the issue with the seme is not his baggage itself but rather the actions and decisions that he takes because of said baggage.
And i cant deny that this story has its flaws, but i ended up loving the relationship between the MCs in the side stories and found it heartwarming. I could definitely see more people enjoying this manhwa if they started with the side stories, not because their problems are eradicated, but moreso because said problems get handled much more reasonably and there isnt as much frustration to be had as a result. But i suppose the main story had to happen to get to that point
The main story is really depressing and while the mc does have his own problems, the ml is most definitely going through it at the mcs expense. There is growth at least by the end of everything and it felt satisfying to read, for me personally.
Might not be everyone’s taste but i think its worth a read if youre good at stomaching angst and don't mind characters making shitty mistakes and fumbling situations like its a contest.
For me, i really enjoyed the plot overall, it felt well planned and executed ^_^ the mcs motivations were clear and i liked how they made a point to show how he formed connections with others (aside from the ml) while trying to achieve his revenge.
Yoohan, the mc, is really likeable, with an aloof disposition and a deadpan way of speaking, it serves to be endearing in a sense. And his character is well fleshed out for what its worth.
His motivations are justified based on his past, and reflects clearly on his actions. Furthermore, the plot pushes him to grow and change his perspective on life in though i wont go into how specifically since that might lead to spoilers.
Jay on the other hand? Hes not exactly the most likeable but i was able to find him tolerable and to be fair he does have chemistry with yoohan.
While he doesn't have the same amount of depth as the mc imo, he bounces off yoohan well in terms of banter and provides decent comedic relief throughout the manhwa. But thats just in my personal opinion.
Its a nice read, at first it might come off as exploring heavy sm stuff but it ends up quite tame in that regard imo.
I found the main couple quite likeable and their relationship was sweet, and their maturity felt refreshing to see
