I been desperate for Polly story I hope someone can give me recs.

As someone who’s been a novel reader and finished GSWG way before it even got popular, I’m honestly not that happy with the adaptation. Well, I lowk love gatekeeping peak stories like this, so I was really shocked when I found out it was getting adapted like, one day the manhwa trailer just popped up out of nowhere. Now there are so many people who never even read the original novel acting like they know everything about it, and the whole story’s space just got flooded with gay shippers. Don’t get me wrong, there were already a lot of shippers back then too, but this new generation only cares about shipping and roleplaying those pairings. I can’t even have a normal conversation about the story anymore without someone asking which ship I prefer. To be honest, I still prefer the novel way more it feels way more thrilling, and the way the first chapter is written hits differently. I’m not saying the adaptation is bad I actually think it’s pretty good, but it still hurts my eyes a bit and I just can’t get used to it. It’s the same with ORV too I’ll always choose the novel over the manhwa adaptation and always thinks they 10x better. Well, I guess people just have different preferences, right? Not sure why I’m even rambling this much in the comments section.

thank goodness I read this historical manhwa ngl i been getting bored with the same stuff but this one is different and I'm literally in love with the character chemistry especially with Cedric mother, I lowk wish we have a longer part on that one I don't even get to see the their baby grow.
